You have to appreciate the use of your bed as a music stool. Well done though. I think it might help some to talk about what notes are being used in relation to the key so that it is not a pure pattern memorization exercise. Nobody seems to do that.

Good video. I was sad to see that the comments don't seem to appreciate that you took the time to make a good video. For those asking the key without much looking into it it seems to resolve on the B note which would make it likely the key of B

This is in the key of B which is the same key as the recording.

Sigh... I enjoyed the video, but Van Halen became famous with a 68' Marshall Plexi. His tone was very "British". Also, circuit wise, the OCD and tubescreamer are miles apart. It makes me sad when people say they are similar.

I have Boss Reverb RV-6 my self, and it really is a nice sounding pedal. I also have a DigiTech HardWire TL-2 Metal Distortion. Soon i will also have a Boss CE-2w Wasa Craft chorus pedal, it is on its way home to me to. Thanks for your video. God bless you in Jesus name.

Playing in church now myself. Spent days comparing reverbs from Blue Sky to Eventide to Earth Quaker and I’m at the point in my life that I could afford any of those pedals, I bought the RV-6. Has every feature needed for worship music at a fraction of the cost. Sounds just as good in live setting and all features easy to access in an instance. No brainer. Your video is a fantastic review. God bless you my friend!

hi everyone ... great video but got just one question...if I want to get a very similar sound to the next video what pedal should I get?? this OCD or the PROCO RAT 2 ??? I'll appreciate someone reply me t-you =) kzbin.info/www/bejne/bp3FgmCdepeWn9E
@frankie28web8 жыл бұрын
I think you'd be better off with the OCD, which can cover that sound easily! The RAT is a great pedal too, but sounds more aggressive ans cuts off some bass. Don't forget to get a decent Delay pedal that can do modulated echos and dotted 8th ;-)

Would the boss od3 be a good one too?
@lameronjeff8 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Martinez Yeah the OD-3 would definitely work! I just like the slightly warmer tone that the BD-2 gives and I didn't need as much overdrive as you get with the OD-3. But the OD-3 is a pretty good pedal, especially for the price, and it could either be a first or maybe even a second stage overdrive. Thanks for watching!

This really helped me a lot. In spite of being around musicians and guitarists my whole life, I'm just beginning to play myself... so a clear knowledge of these terms are important to me now. Especially since I'm watching a ton of videos to self learn. Never was sure about gain. Now I know! So Thanks so much!!
