If it helps you feel less guilty (about the stockinette rolled edges on the star sweater): My Favourite Things Knitwear came out with Sweater No. 27 November last year and she had that feature for the neckline, also Japanese knitting patterns circa 2021-2022 were all about the rolled edges before and after ribbing, don't feel bad that you're using a fashion element many have used too! The sweater looks super cute, by the way! 😊

I think it's also worth discussing how fucked up it is that consumers have to be ethically and environmentally conscious, it should be happening at a company level, mass production wont stop if people stop buying things Even expensive clothes now are made as cheaply as possible to not lose money when things sell on sale, and if you buy from an indie store there's 50/50 chance they just buy from Ali express, and ontop of that the shipping from the indie shop to you is very bad for the planet too. I just thrift and hope at this point man

I think you shouldn't feel bad for buying required supplies (like yarn) for a hobby you love doing (like knitting)

The red yarn looks like the old Avalon Cascade yarns! The one I used was 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.

It is truly awesome that Tyla ate in her first Met Gala

Although you are correct, that is the theme for the MET museum, but the dresscode theme is "Garden of Time". When I saw Doja cat, i thought it was like a statue type of look. But most of the people you said didn't fit the theme still didn't fit the Garden of Time theme either. I am also commenting this at 12:05 in your video, so if you already mentioned this I am sorry lol.

Hi! I really enjoyed this vlog, i love your videos and style! As a tip dor the i-Cord I use DPNs so instead of lifting all the stitches from one needle to the other, i just slide the stitches to the other side, take the needle with the yarn hand and continue knitting with the needle that just got free, idk if i explained myself correctly lol, but hope this helps <3
