you spend alot of time doing animations to abandon them getting dust like the penguin in toy story or like when andy switched woody to buzz like when you switched animations to real life shorts if you want a tip dont abandon things you like and get the best of both worlds if not focus on find what you really like and master it if not you will never know in what invest your time if you abandon the projects for others all the animators and actors spend their effort to get a name imagine if Tim burton switched his career being animator or leonardo di caprio switching his actor career thats what happened to jim parsons better known as sheldon cooper now that actor cant do another works without being remembered as sheldon cooper the same with robert downey jr being iron man etc
