Brakpan is n very quiet please to stay. The people in your vidio is not telling the truth. It is not a poor town. And it is not a hillbilly town.

@@zhou_kaw Good morning..some family info..The surname "Rapp" is from German descend.. My grandfather moved from Germany to South Africa as a young boy. I assume iif we go further back on the "Rapp" family tree we will most probably end up Dutch 😊

Thanks for the video. I was looking for the videos about Gautrain. The Gauteng Premier announced in 2024 that a Gautrain extension line would be built in the future. The estimated cost is R120 billion ($6.411 billion USD). What do South Africans think of the extension line?

Eish, those border crossings are hectic! Been there, bought the fridge magnet. It's almost as bad as travelling to London Heathrow via Dubai, the passport controls and paperwork required is enough to make one stay at home, but I suppose the end destination,☺ justifies the means.

Brakpan has its nice areas and then the poorer areas like any other town. Streets are always clean and some friendly people. Prefer Brakpan to Germiston which is filthy and run down.

The Train to Pretoria is currently sharing line with Germiston trains so that's why is running after hours but they busy fixing Johannesburg to Pretoria meaning it won't have to share lines with Germiston trains.

I would rather prefer the Gautrain because It's much safer and much quicker than you think.Well, I've been through all of the gautrain stations, but let me tell you something.I didn't actually want to go to the GAUTRAIN when me Three years old I was actually quite scared but throughout of the yes I got used to it

The X'trapolis is also safe as gautrain trust me and no crime has occurred in these trains since they were introduced, Gautrain doesn't stop at some locations like Germiston

Nice video. Very interesting. But as a Tech Savy / No cash individual, Metrorail just hasn't reached the level where people like myself would use it. As I've said, I don't carry cash, If the gates accepted Android Pay or Samsung Pay, that would be a different story
