Initially I told myself I wouldn't get neither Campaign Decks nor Team cards with DC United campaign, my first. In a sugar rush after actually tasting the game with the available retail boxes I ended up going in a sugar rush for the All In with DC United in the pledge manager. I would like to see how campaigns worked for Marvel United, they sound cool. If you do a playthrough I'll be there! Coincidentally I also recently got Gotham Outbreak and those are my only two board game (systems, I guess) I've bought, which turn out you have playthroughs of lol ❤ Now I'd like to see how the campa

Was wondering if I would ever be able to get some of the expansions I'm missing. I refuse to pay these crazy prices on Ebay and others. I'm only needing one or two more. I can't see any info or any way to contact CMON through their web site. Very frustrating

Note that you don't reveal equipment until you pick it up, so you don't know if it's worth grabbing or who should get it until you spend the action to get it.

You can, just remember that there are no equipment cards in MZ and bystanders work differently, but other than that you should be able to max and match. Might play a game mixing the characters from both games if people want to see that

The symbiotes from the Gencon/SDCC symbiote promo work VERY similarly to the pets from the expansion in this video. I missed Gencon, but I’m an Indianapolis local and was able to snag a copy for $5 from another local. It is NOT worth the $20-$30 they were selling at in the scalper’s market. As far as Witching Hour, I’m also eagerly awaiting its online release. While it was available here at the con, there were only like 25-30 copies for sale each day. Many of these were bought by volunteers from other booths who were able to get in line before attendees were in the door, and they were sold out very quickly each day.

The Galactus box is really a standout this season. The Galactus fight itself is unique and a great addition to the game. However, I really feel that the multivillain Heralds fight is even better. It worked really well with the four included Heralds and should work well in the modular version using other villains you own. Additionally, the four heralds fought individually are at least average villains making it much better than the infinity gauntlet box where the individual villains were mostly lackluster.

You are correct that the “Wrecking Crew” only has the hex team dashboard. They do not have individual villain dashboards. The Winter Guard also only have one shared rectangular villain dashboard and master plan deck, but each member does have individual hero decks.

Personally, I’d be interested in seeing someone play the asymmetric “Registration Clash”. The only playthroughs I’ve seen have been the symmetric “Clash of Heroes” PVP mode. “Clash of Heroes” looks to be identical to the “Clash of Justice” mode from the DC United Justice Society box which I pledged. However, “Registration Clash” looks to be unique to Civil War, and if it looks good enough, I might pick it up. (I just started playing in July and missed all three Kickstarters, but have almost completed the expensive process of picking up what I want from Seasons 1-3. So far, I’ve skipped Civil War because it doesn’t add villains and I already have the symmetrical PvP mode coming in Justice Society 12-18 months from now.)

We are planning on doing Civil War, just want to get some technical things done for our set up so we can do a 2v2 game on camera. When we start our Multiverse gameplay content (planning to start filming that Thursday) it will be the core box villains. Hopefully we can get Civil War done after that. I am interested to see how the pvp modes play compared to the core game.

Well, all you need for Sinister Six Assembled are the figures from the older games. Doesn't use any of the other components. Not super hard to sub in something else in their place.

This is very true. Back when we played DnD James played a Druid and use to use a quarter for his game piece and flip it to the eagle side to show if he was in wild shape or not. As long as you can keep track of who is who you can use whatever you want 😁

Would love to get this to the table soon. We would have to redo the set up we have to get 4 people at the table and get it to where we can see and hear everyone with the equipment we have, as well as find a forth person that wants to be on camera 😁.

Just got my copy of this from Amazon yesterday.... is it even possible to put everything back in the box once the zombies have their stands put on? I cant fit the dials or cardboard tokens in if the zombies are built. Dont really want to ditch the insert, but im thinking its a necessity...

We only took out the standies we needed as we played they I put it back on the lunch board, but with marvel zombies heroes resistance I managed to get everything back in the box with with their standies on without having to remove the insert.

I saw your other video unboxing the dark knight metal expansions. Just to confirm the dark knight metal expansions do work with this game with no house rules or mods correct?

To play dark knights metal characters you need the DCeased version of their cards. The cards are being packed with the main game when it releases next year, HOWEVER, if you go to the CMON website they have the print and play version of the Dark Knights characters so you can use them now with Gotham City Outbreak

Glad you have this one. I made a few new modes to use the Sentinels, that I have really enjoyed. Still testing out 2 of them, but the first one feels ready to roll. Eventually I’ll make a Nimrod solo fight based on Krakoa/Powers of X. Love these models!

A few qustions. In the start when you push sorrcere is it not only pushing in a straight line? And at 17,40 isent the bettle hitting 2 times for 1?

Thanks for the playthrough. I did notice a few rules-related things that might be worth mentioning for the benefit of future viewers. I don’t have the game in hand yet, so might be misunderstanding some of the finer points, but based on my reading of the pdf of the DCeased rule book on the CMON website: 1. I believe that when a hero rescues a bystander, you immediately increase that hero’s power track to its maximum, so Ivy would get maximum power after rescuing Alfred. 2. At 20mins, the walkers were supposed to spawn in the room and then activate (it was a rush card) but they were not activated after spawning. Had they activated, I am not entirely sure about the rules regarding the targeting of bystanders: When the walkers spawn they have line of sight to Batman (2 moves away) and the bystander (1 move away). However the bystander card should not be revealed until the spawn actions are completely resolved, as I understand it (you left it face down until Batman arrived to claim it, but I think you are supposed to reveal it after spawning enemies when you open a door to a new area). So does that mean the walkers would move one space toward Batman, rather than toward the bystander, because the bystander card is still face down at this point? I'm thinking yes, but I'm not sure and hope someone can clarify one way or the other. In this case it was something of a moot point, because had the bystander card been revealed immediately after spawning the enemies, it would have shown that it was not really a bystander after all but another enemy (and this is another reason why I think they would not head toward an unrevealed bystander card: it might not actually be a bystander). It would have slightly changed the enemy battle that followed though. 3. At 24mins, I don’t think you get to choose which way those enemies go. The rule book states that if the enemies have line of site to any heroes or bystanders, they will move toward the closest one(s) they can see. In this particular case, they do not have any line of sight. Therefore, according to the rules, they would instead head along the shortest open path to a zone containing heroes or bystanders. In this case, then, they would go the way your coin flip dictated, not the long way round that the other side of the coin would have chosen. Thanks again!

1) I didn’t realize that ivy should have gone up in power during my playthrough or editing, but I do recall seeing that in the rules now that you mention it. I’ll make sure to remember it for mission 2 ( mission 1 was recorded before the tutorial, and I can guarantee that we forgot that rule then too). 2) I realized in editing that I forgot to flip the bystander card. It should have been revealed and I would have played the encounter with Batman slightly different. Dice rolls and his ability would have taken care of everything there, but we all know the dice would have rolled differently in that case. 3) in the case of the runners and where to move, I honestly just wanted to use the coin, but realized after the game that they would have moved to the shortest path. Was just trying to have a bit of fun, though that coin seems to hate me regardless (in Mission 1 I think I used the coin to determine movement 2 more times, and both times I think it screwed me).

I lucked out that no other zombie heroes spawned, and the spicier spawn cards drawn at the beginning of the game didn’t really affect the game much. The spawn deck is a little more dangerous than the one in MZ, so I can see how things can go south pretty quick.

I got the coin from an old dvd collectors edition box set when The Dark Knight was first released back in… 2008? As for using it in the game, I thought it would be fun to use it to determine movement for when zombies have two path to go in (despite the rules clearly explaining what to do in these situations). For this video the runners would have gone in the direction that the coin indicated simply because it was the shortest path to the me, but I thought the coin flip would be more fun 😁

In DCeased, they use "push" instead of move so you don't confuse it with the move action, but it works in any direction, not just away.
