The short point option is the only sharpener I have found that works on my soft Clover chaco pencils for fabric marking without breaking the points.

I see it's been 3 years since you made this video. But I've been writing short western stories and have a series of the McBride's, fictional characters that I made up, it's a family of brothers of 7 boys maw and paw on a farm. The oldest brother is max, he's a gun slinger fastest gun in the territory... Any how, id like to send you a copy.....

Old painted doors.. They are my favourite too. I take pictures of old doors wherever and whenever i travel. The distressed look in myriad colours on old doors.. Can't have enough of them!!!! 😊😊

Amy I LOVE your tree collector book video, well done! Please make videos of all your books, THAT would be a great collection, and of course I’d want the CD, tee hee, you think I’m joking but really, I’m not. And I can’t wait to get your new book!

I love this. Before retirement, I grew and sold Japanese maples. Some people buy Japanese maples as a fashion statement for their landscape. But there were always those special customers that collected Japanese maples. Sometimes hundreds of weird or unusual Japanese maples over the years. Growing them in their suburban backyard, in pots or in the ground or both. They were always my favorite customers. They were so interesting, because the mind of a collector will naturally collect more things than just trees. I miss those collectors intensely since I've retired.

Love your style Amy. I live in Portland and have been painting the same scenes as you have been. Do you teach in Portland? I look for you in the MLC park when I sit there and sketch.

Does anybody know, if Pentel makes a different Sepia? I want to order that exactly Dark Sepia, shown here while painting with the Pentel brush. Do all Pentel brushes come with tihs Sepia xolor, or should I search for a different name, like "Dark" sepia, please ?

What about the peach pit , I think that’s the one? Love the book. If there was an apocalypse it’s your book I want,lol. It was my daughter that read and gave me. I kind of knew some of them. I do know that like I said you’re book would be the book in case of the apocalypse. There would be no more medicine anymore so we need plants.

You are so talented Amy! I loved watching you do this, and want to try it. for me it’s difficult to know where to start, even picking the colors. I must be brave and courageous, like you!
@AmyStewartAuthor

Thanks! One of the things I explain in the full video is that I really didn't even think too much about the exact colors. My colors don't look much like the photo. When you're just doing it for the experience, it kind of doesn't matter so much exactly what colors you use.

I found out about the Kopp sisters from an episode of drunk History and found these books when I searched for more information about them. This series is good! The narrator of these audiobooks further elevates the material.

I've noticed whether it's stunts, first responder/firefighter shows, and how firearms work. Hollywood writers seemed to either do 0 or the bare minimum.
