Thank you. I did all this on my app, but I use an SQL Server database which uses a login that has full read/write access to the table. I still cannot get the Edit Form to show me the fields like you to actually edit the form. New is also the same. The edit form is just a display only form no matter what I do. And how did you get the fields to flash when you hover over with the mouse? Nice.

Thanks for this request. Trying to better understand your scenario- if you are concerned that other people might accidentally edit your app, don’t give them edit permission on your app. PowerApps is like a deployed code. So, if you don’t want anyone to edit your deployed code, don’t give them edit permission on your app / environment. There is no need of any password protection. Or, did you have some other scenario like you want some screens for your app available to users only if they enter the right password ? That scenario makes sense but I am assuming you are not asking for that because you said you want to make sure other people cannot edit your app. So, let me know more details of your scenario and I can help accordingly

@@cloudatica actually we all are building our own apps in shared environment. All of us can view each other's apps, my concern is that someone might open and edit my app. I want to password protect the entire app to not let anyone open it. Can we alter our edit permissions in this way?

Quiz 2: No, you can directly fetch data from SQL to gallery, so there is no need for collections here.

Actually, in some cases you can benefit from collection even when your data is stored in SQL Database. This is for performance benefits. If you need to show the data from SQL again and again in your app, you can fetch it once from SQL DB and store it in collection so that you don’t have to keep going to your database for fetching data. This can improve the read performance of your app. Does it make sense ?

Collection Data Stored in Browser Cache and it will be stored till the App closes or refreshed.

Collection is in-memory data structure, not a persistent data structure. So, as soon as you close the app, all the changes are gone. If you want to persist the changes, you need to store it in a database like Dataverse or SQL Azure etc. In PowerApps, you can map a collection to a persistent data store like Dataverse or SQL Azure. I can able to enable 'Navigate' option for 1st item (Next arrow). the same navigation applies to all items. How can I enable navigation to all individual items? You explained only about first main screen and detail screen switch. How to get detailed screen for 2nd, 3rd etc items?

Hi, trying to use custom connector in Power Pages to access graph api. Doesn't seem to be a valid choice for Power Pages. Do you know if this is available for Power Pages, and if not what should be used instead? Thanks for the video.

Unfortunately, Custom Connectors are only supported in Canvas Apps and are not available for Power Pages. For Power Pages, you will need to use Dataverse Dataflows.

How can i update the screen in collection? i want to change the target screen .. only one record and column is affected .. example the chatScreen's 'TargerScreen' value will change, the thumbnail column and menu column will not change.

sir, thanks for the helpful video. if the sharepoint list is having 100+ fields, how can i split those fields intoo different screens/forms/. all are part of splist and when on submit the form, it shud perform the validation of mandatory and other validations show-hide and it shud navigate btwn the screens smoothly. Do you think, which approach will do better ? tabbed forms ? or left navigation menu, which you created in this video. please advice.
