Well, It's Hockney-esque, But Hockney was taking each photo hand-held and moving the point of shooting slightly. First with a Pentex 110 SLR and then he got a motor-driven 35mm. Of course this was all analogue 40 years ago. Idavid Graficks screen printed all the backgrounds and photo schematics with David Hockney for 4 years. Eighty editions in total.

Hi. Very informative video. I want to change the surface of the tea pot and the cup and want to make it concave than convex... That means I do not want the teapot and the cups to have curves but the surfaces look concave... can you please guide me how to do this?

Such a low junk that cam match tool. Perspective match also the same. Simple manual camera set up gives perfect result.

Nice methods, the same I use, but the original texture was not evenly lit... Take better pictures or cut them😂

That doesn't look like an accurate result, I think the reason is because you weren't able to see (and thus not able to click) one of the points that is above the video frame. If you remove that one I think the remaining points will be able to do its job more accurately.

I don't know how many times I've tried to mimic your instructions. I've gone back and forth between windows to mimic each step, word for word and they do not match. Maybe because of whatever that's causing these problems YOU should come back with an updated video. Please

photoshop scares me. I am scared of things I don't understand. I have a thing or a condition where if I am going to use something, I have to know everything about it - and this program has endless possibilities. I can't grasp them all therefore can't use it.

It's good to be scared: that's when you are outside you comfort zone, and you'll learn. My advice? Make a Photoshop composition, like a collage, with lots of layers of photos and flat colours. Then just experiment with the Layer Settings like Multiply and Screen, over flat colours. Play with contrast and invert things. There are several ways of doing the same thing with Photoshop...that's the beauty of it. Just get stuck in and play...it's how you learned to speak, read and write after all..?

I know this is a very old vid but I hope I'd still get an answer since I've got a question. let's say I have 7 or more campoints for an irrigular object and I need to assign their positions. but I have front and back points. now I have ref a front ref pic and a back ref pic which I set as bgs on different viewports. my question is: do I have to assign the posistions of all the campoints on the same viewport? or can I for example assign some on the front ref pic viewport and the rest on the back ref viewport? Thanx in advance :)
