@@sergiodpk Absolutely; long tubes can really make a substantial difference in the bottom end power.. Especially if they are equal-length primaries. And if you want a little more, spend the extra for some header wrap and install it as well. You may also want to consider some e3 plugs if they are available for your application because of how conducive they are to flame propagation; unless your ride already has open tip spark plugs

I got a 96 Z28 and I had a 383 in it and it twisted the 10 bolt posi that came in the car into a pretzel lol I had a quick performance 9 in that bolted right in and put 411 gears in it moser posi unit and Moser axles. My 396 stroker is being built now. I'm hoping to get 500whp with OptiSpark delete and LS conversion kit.

This car is setup for road racing, low stance stiff suspension….its never hooked hard enough to shock the rearend that bad…my current setup put down 518whp check out my videos or my instagram @motorsbysergio

Custom😎……AF was getting a little fat up top…if we woulda spent more time we prolly woulda got a few more ponies and peaked at 6600-6700…you can see in the graph how it flat lines then rolls…but I was already very happy with the numbers and it was getting late

Not much more than a 383 build

A lot, I just finished a 383, I use the best parts, it has to be made in U.S.A. or it don't go in, Callies crank and rods, 4 bolt mains, Ross pistons in this one, AFR heads, I learned the hard way, always use GM roller lifters, I use Comp. cams, I have my own grind they do for me, I build these engines for road racing (track day stuff) anyway it costs twice as much since we got Biden in there, I've got over 26 thousand into this one, last one I did about 3 years ago was about 12 or 13 thousand, may be some engine builders out there that can do it cheaper.

A lot a guys building motors know about the importance of quench and understand cam duration and cam timing and quench resulting in a loss of hp and detnation from to damn much quench and broken pistons/bent valves on to little I'm thinking cam at 110 duration 220's at .050 62 cc chambers .040 quench ????????
