First and foremost: too cheap to not try 😁 If you think on rose vs. black, Fatip made me to doubt any black coatings.

Haven't had Qshave so can't comment. I was quite left confused, will take a few shaves to give more pros&cons, but it is hell of a shaver! Soooo smooth, that it left me "what? for 10$?" 😁 Maybe is lightweight for my taste, neck down to say it like that. From adjustment ring-up, well designed, with spots for improvement.

In this video 2d of beard-growth, but I don't care much I use it daily as much as for 2-3-4 days, no differences at all. But I like WTG only, XTG and to be done in 1-2 passes, no more. I like OC so for me it was easy-peasy to get used to. Very minimal blade gap

Well, to be honest (and as displayed) it worked quite well even on thin lather, so def. has some good properties, but incompareable with this "hot blooming" and it's quite frugal, like you use it, and use it, and it's still there. Thanks man, hope you'll endure the flood wave 🤞

Maybe just marketing to increase hype. I've found some images on badger&blade, showing early R41 very close like Fatips so maybe it was join venture as now with EJ, who knows. Still, remarkably smooth shaver 😎

Hi, no I haven't. Was tempted for gunmetal version, but it was close to merkur with price. For Progress, I'd say it's near impossible to be BBS all the time, as much as impossible to cut with it. It is super comfy, and ok for DFS on daily basis but head design drives the blade too away from the skin to achieve, Fatip's or R41 level of closenes (which is maybe expected for closed-bar razor)

I like them as well, nice balance between sharpness and thickness, as my only other slant is FOCS - my choice is Treet ☺️ Can't be missaligned even when trying

@@Wicked-Whiskers just had a first shave with Mercur Progress on 3.5 setting and Nice shave. Rocca is next on so how it compare with Mercur Progres on 4 (what is your sweet spot) ? And fatip piccolo SE is on the way from Spain beside your warning for wearing coating

@@danijelblagojevic9572 For Progress I'm all around #4, and Rocca is different in cutting angle (beard grows bit softer on touch, I really can't explain how or why) and it has more blade feel, can't place it on skin without blade feel first. It's built like a tank, very precise, good lifetime quality, often I just skip next day shave as there's nothing there. Comfort - for me it's same as Progress but I rarely shave "upwards" or against the grain so don't face issue of large blade gap. No learning curve, just be aware of weight an easiness of cutting, very powerfull machine

Surprisingly, the LpL works quite well although as you noticed it is indeed quite light, soapy, watery... perhaps the formula is such (or I've added too much water) but it feels nice, refreshing, soft on skin and with lot of slickness. I'd have to try it out with other brushes to see if it comes any thicker, maybe with bowl lathering next time

No, I don't even think on any stroping, sharpening, for this price. 3-6 shaves depending on blade is just fine

@danijelblagojevic9572 Cestitam, u zdravlju da koristis 🤗 Mislim da ces generalno biti dosta zadovoljan, jedini problem s "nepoderivim" brijacima je sto sledi gomilanje istih, nikad docekati na redovnu zamenu. Al opet, ima i skupljih i stetnijih hobija, kad nesto kvalitetno koristis svaki dan zaista se oseti razlika. Vidis, dobro si me podsetio da snimim opet Yaqi, nisam je bas dugo koristio ☺️

I have St.Petersburg ones, don't know if there's other version available. But mine are bought couple years ago, 3-4 packs of 100s 😁

Maybe on next purchase, only drawback of traditional shaving is once you get something (soap, brus, razor) it lasts for months 😁

​@@Wicked-WhiskersI agree, I have used R41 extensively and the level of exfoliation it offers is terrific. However, as a daily shaver, it was a bit too much for me and ended up giving it away. Hands down, the best single pass shaver, close to the Merkur Futur clone that I have.

😆😆😆 sure I'm not! There was a German guy, who I haven't understood a word and he shaved with R41 effortlessly, so I pulled the trigger on head-only and here we are... Really don't understand why "bombastic" titles and dreadfull comments get more attention but many, many people use R41 like it's BIC. Hope I'll demistify it a little bit as the time goes

Yup, that worked for Semogue, but for this and many other reasons I prefer Omega's ☺️ silky smooth and real top performer. Fatip Friday you may suggest? 😁

Maybe it's some "old stuff" from prior versions, or simply marketing, but indeed it's very direct, mildish, non-iritating, almost nick-free razor and you can also get the head only. I like it because it has minimal blade play, to grab loosen skin, no chattering but just enough exposure to swipe everything 🤗

No, but some watchers commented on them, that they are available. Unfortunatelly, in Serbia Amazon is bit expensive so I either order from retailers or browse shopping malls. Are FlyDear's any good? Durable? 100pcs for 7.50€ on one "eastern" shopping platform 😁 If only I don't have 700 blades already

I like them and they are rather sharp and durable aswell. Didn’t know bout that Amazon pricing in Serbia. 😮

@@RafaelHupfeld yeah, being outside EU does increase postal and other customs costs, although DE Post, Coreos from Spain had just fine options (small package up to 1kg, 7-8eur). But for more expensive goods, >50eur we have customs fee ☹️ Not to mention US direct shipping 😂

Meni licno, Progress - jako, jako "udoban", nemoguc za poseci se (samo 1x na #5 a i to jer imam viska koze na buckastim obrazima pa lako zapne) ali isto tako ne brije jako blizu koze nekako puno odvodi zilet od lica. Desi se cesto da me i zena kritikuje kaze "s cim si se to brijao?" al opet meni se svideo izgled, nisam imao podesivi, nisam imao Merkur, rekoh aj da probam. Retko ga i podesavam. #4 99.99% slucajeva. Sraf dosta tanak na glavi, sto mi se ne svidja nije mi ubedljiv al za posao - da se brijes s 0.5% mozga 😁 R89 me lepse brije svakako, al drag mi je i Progress, onako, za ne razmisljati. E sad, uz Flexi i Rockwel zaista mu ne vidim svrhu, iskreno, ne vidim da ces po funkciji mnogo dobiti. Kakav ti je Flexi? Dvoumio sam se i za njega al ipak uzeh Progress, racunao "njemac" prave ga 50god sigurno su ispeglali sve nedostatke, a i bio mi jeftiniji od Fleksija tad

@@Wicked-Whiskers ma odlican je i stvarno agresivan ali ... Dosao sa krivom donjom plocom. Cekam jos uvijek sta ce indijci odlučiti i porucim Progress jer je bio prvi izbor ali ono gledajući flexi on je kao tenk naspram progresa. I stvarno je sve super samo da nije taj problem sa iskrivljenom ostricom. Ako ne priznaju garanciju probat cu ga popraviti kao Heiko sto je uradio, tj oprugu izravnao.

Merkur nema tih problema, super je sve u pogledu izrade, tolerancija, hromiranje, bas nista za prigovoriti, samo 1-3 jedva da nesto radi, na #3 mogao bi praviti bar 2-3 prolaza, na 4-4.5 brije tu izmedju R89 (al ima vise otvora do zileta da lako uhvati kozu) i R94 (al opet ni blizu efikasan) pa zato, ako ti Rockwell radi posao, vrv neces biti bas preodusevljen. Geofatboy ima Progress 10+ god, kaze radi ko prvi dan, pa sam probao. Vise je za komfor nego za efikasnost. Fatip slant mi je bio vece odusevljenje recimo, za taj deo malo agresivniji a ipak udoban. Fora mi je zbog tog starinskog dizajna a nov brijac, nije da ganjas neki vintage Gillette Slim i sl. ovako dobijes vintage a nov, to mi je bilo skroz ok. Kad se zavrne, bukvalno nigde ne dise, tako da stvarno je bas fino napravljen, samo mu ja ne koristim pun potencijal, to je sve. Ne mislim da bi se pokajao, samo bih da ti predocim taj "nisam mnogo dobio" osecaj

You mean iconic "cube" or cream-soap in tube? I've used cube (pressed in bowl) on how to lather videos, but later one I haven't used since 2010-15th. From this point I'd say I always used too little water with any Palmira, ending with dry, flaky lather, but soap (and cream) were super slick. Might revisit them once again 😊
