"Best of his generation - and more" - well said. Cant think of any other who could rock`n roll the way he did - AND play the classic blues like being born for it. Superb interpretations of T-bone Walker and Johnny Guitar Watson- he had it all. His records are pure musical gold - all 5 of them.

Wow! This is fantastic. I’m from near Milwaukee and was going to a lot of shows around this time but don’t remember this venue…was it just called the 50’s Diner? Thanks again for sharing this. I’ve been listening to Rev Horton Heat for 30 years…not sure how I missed Nick
