Thanks! There’s 3 or 4 different drones in this edit. The long range stuff is obviously a chimera, but the ocean shots are on a 5” with a vista. I silicone all the pads and leads and then do a super heavy electrical tape wrap with some extra liquid electrical tape around some gaps. It’s not water proof but it can take some ocean spray. 🤞🏻 the vista itself is actually water proof according to KZbin tests (I’ve seen it operating underwater), but not salt water.

Yes. Sometimes (often) I have a song picked out before a fly. I hear something and think “This is a good fpv song” And I plan the flight around it. Then I pick the section of song I like and try to keep the edit nice and short. My older videos are a bit long, I’m trying to keep them under 2 minutes these days. But also what I want, no rules. Sometimes the music just doesn’t fit the flight and I either save the footage for another time or just pick a new song.

Yeah 3.5 is a bit big. My 3” Diatone Taycan is old but perfect. I also use a beta95xv3

This is in a national park on Vancouver island in Canada. I spent months getting the permits for the flights. I had to post signage all over the park and be praised for a ranger visit, and of course multiple VO’s. Worth the shot ♥️

@@roydenfpv I knew it was some where in Canada, I live in northern Ontario and love to fly FPV just built my first 7 inch drone. The problem I have here in a town of 8,000 is finding someone to fly with me. Ive ridden sleds in Revelstoke BC. and want to bring my drone next time. My wife would prefer i just fly my drones much safer.:) Great video's, I sure hope you increase your subscribers your work deserves to be watched.

@kevinglenister6520 Thanks for the kind words Kevin! Last year I actually lost my first drone ever in a lake in Ontario :( it was sad. Revelstoke would have some amazing long range peaks. ❤️ I live in Seattle area but I go home to Canada many times a year.

The opening fpv shot is actually directly across from yak. Needle peak. If you do long range it’s worth the flight. LOS is tight but doable.
