Demons are definitely my least favorite so far.

Murlocs seem the most boring to me, followed with Demons. But I won’t know for sure until I truly try it.

Felfin is one of the best midgame stabilizing cards in the game. Get it early and use a couple of discover tier/battlecry/deathrattle cards and you will have 20+/20+ minion early.

also 3 minion combo: Wrathweaver, Big Brother, Archimonde. Add in a Brann and you've got yourself an APM demon comp with synergy. Is this set just 'APM Heaven' or something? Blizzard addicted to APM comps S9 I guess

Demons seem fine. Weaker than they were, but fine. Murlocs seem tunnel visioned. Previously you could play Hand Buff, Scam, or APM Murlocs, all of which being equally viable, and pretty much all of them ran Bassgill (which you forgot to mention is gone!). My friend that I played Duos with exclusively played Hand Buff Murcules Murlocs. Now you can't do it at all with all handbuffs leaving. And without Bassgill, you can't do super effective scam either. Now, you're almost entirely reliant on the new not so impressive APM Murlocs, which certainly have good cards, but replacing Mrglin Burglar, Bream Counter, Bassgill, and Choral Mrglr seems like a big stretch. It will be fun, and worth playing, but significantly less playstyle options. You have 1 comp that heavily relies on Brann, and that's about it for Murlocs right now.

Compared to the rest of the revival, these ones feel very meh. Also demons still haven't lost their self damaging or gained anything.

I'll miss having a Golden Murcles summon from my hand and buffing the heck out of itself, getting itself up to hundreds of HP and Attack :(

Will bubble gunner keep its keywords when tripled? Aka a tier 1 with 4 keywords?

What my concern with the keyword stuff is if they say the word or if they have the property...which is it determined by? Cause Brann has Battlecries and that is bolded like a keyword. So does he also get the 4/4 buff?

Oh Felfin I will miss you. You were terrible 90% of the time but you were hands down the most fun Murlock build.

Back with more reveals! Hope you had a good weekend. Backstage Security’s stats made it such a popular starter in Demon lobbies. Kinda happy it’s going away. Both Felbloods are gone, which aligns with my predictions from the trinket changes to Marin. They felt slow imo, I hope we get better shop scaling options. DEPRAVED FELFIN MY BELOVED! NOOOOO! I’ll miss this guy dearly, his bump to tier 4 gave him far more utility. I know you often found yourself struggling to use him well, but when you get into modes like Duos where you can pour Discover cards into the Felfin owner’s pocket, things can get very exciting very quickly. Pilgrimp was very convenient as a “free buy” tool. Sucks to see him go. Mirage Conjurer was weird to me, never got to use it right. Insatiable Ur’zul is a card I didn’t get to make work as often as I wanted. I started to finally figure it out during the trinket meta but now I don’t have to worry about it as much. Cultist S’thara leaving is a bummer. It also served as an alternative way to resummon Arid Atrocities in lobbies that lacked Mechs for Kangor. Keyboard Igniter is good. Good buff, good cycle. Felemental is BACK! Super stoked to have it return. Simplistic shop buff that’s always a nice cycle tool. Famished Felbat feeding itself is good to see back. Not sure why it needed a change in the first place. Ominous Seer, like for Naga, is good cycle. Good stuff. Big Brother could be interesting if you pull an early Archimonde. Activate some self-damage, discount some spells, grab the cheap ones and play them, then consume some buffed minions. Needs effort to work, but if you line things up, it could offer a nice bump. Tardy Traveler is nifty for when you find those expensive Tavern spells after a refresh and don’t want to waste gold trying to buy them out. And yes, I think the Tardy Traveler coming out of what looks like a Tardis is almost certainly a Doctor Who reference. Furious Driver is a pretty neat pocket Famished Felbat. Unfortunately, it’s not much better than that. Batty Terrorguard is an interesting Insatiable Ur’zul alternative. It could possibly spread your stat gains from shop consumption across the board, which could be nice I suppose. It also encourages spell spam! Nether Construct must love cupcakes! First choice amplifies your already-solid consumption power, and the second choice can actually be pretty good if you decide to cast Channel the Devourer on it. RIP Murcules. Fun little guy, sucks to see him go. Scourfin, Diremuck Forager, Bassgill, Bream Counter, Mrglin’ Burglar, and Choral Mrrrglr leaving is sad since that means the handbuff Murloc world is going away after so long. Oh well, was fun while it lasted. Swampstriker with Windfury looks exciting. Mighty fin-sorry, meant to say fun-change. Fairy Gillmother with innate Taunt is nice. Nothing much more to say, although I will mention that handbuff’s removal means I’m happier to keep this on board for APM style builds. Holy Mecherel in the new meta is cool, but yes, is definitely annoying. Let’s see what it does with Reborn! Bubble Gunner could be funny. An early game Venomous roll sounds hilarious. Reckless Cliffdiver will be a fun Wannabe Gargoyle alternative for Kalecgos builds in Murloc lobbies, I think. Can’t wait to toy with it. Adaptive Ancestor’s name is a great callback to Gentle Megasaur (please don’t bring it back to BG). Nice and flexible. Fountain Chiller as cycle is pretty nice. Reminds me of some other Murloc we used to have whose name I can’t remember… Implant Subject will definitely proc from Divine Shield pops, Venomous triggers, and attacks from Stealth. Resummons from Reborn is also possible, not sure by how much. Also, since Sin’dorei Strider is still in, it might trigger Implant Subject with its Taunt removal. Hackerfin is a stronger Felfin Navigator with some additional upsides, so this looks really nice… especially since Felfin Navigator would not really keep up with the current meta. Neon Agent tells me I’m gonna want to try some Murloc/Dragon combo builds. Nice board stats on a replacement Lass-o-matic! AND IT CAN GAIN VENOMOUS! Overall, Demons look alright and Murlocs are pretty exciting. Let’s see how the meta pans out next week!

Handbuff murloc have never been so interesting for me, but murcules is one of my favourite cards based on charisma only. I will miss him Bassgill AND bream counter? WTF? Gunner sounds fine. May be REALLY strong or REALLY weak Diver is each battlecry, so maybe at tempo will be good Ancestor. As every choose one, looks really good Chiller sounds fine, i love the art anyways Subject will depend at what "loses" mean, but may be REALLY strong or totally useless Hackerfin would be curious, depending on how the average board looks Agent remembers me of whirl-o-matic, but a bit worse. Who knows? In general, i like the idea, but it will all be about how it works

Just no Driver will be REALLY good to cycle Batty only would work with 2. One will not work AS good, and will be a really big weak spot Construct is REALLY interesting, i like it Overall, i think they are missing a bit of extra UMPH, but look fine in general. All they need is a couple number adjust

we havent really discussed this yet but i really like that for the past two sets now the flavor of the battlegrounds seasons has been parallel to the set theyre contemporary too. whizbang's toy shop theme saw a fairytale battlegrounds, and now our space opera set sees a cyberpunk battlegrounds

Plated Beetle, Jeweled Scarab, and Maexxna (a spider) were hearthstone cards that were beasts, they’ve included bugs as beasts in the past. Anything from the animal kingdom except humanoids count, I guess. And yea this beast class feels like a different class. Specifically they feel like undead! Permanently buffing the things you summon? That’s not new lol

20:34 The gems are based off YOUR buffs to them. If your teammate is struggling with stats, as is often the case in duos and funnelling a hyper-good board to one person (ESPECIALLY with quilboars), letting your teammate "catch up" in raw stats is insanely good.

I like all of the new duo minions because all of them are made to be support, as people are saying in duos 99% of the time there will be one very good big board and one very scammy board or weak board. Well every single one of the minions just help the weak board make the strong board even better. If i already have 2 leroys and poison things why not have 1-2 of fhe minion that can pass for free, play free blood gems, buff my allies, etc. Etc.

bargin bundle is gonna be a decent spell if your teammate is running apm pirates with salty hog, and if your playing apm pirates your probably gonna have alot of money so rolling the shop and sending these to the non pirate player to cast seems really good imo

I think it’s crazy you’re not in the creator program yet. You hands down make the best hearthstone videos out there. And your videos are visually pleasing as well. I can tell amount of time goes into it as well. They’ll recognize one day!

Educated Collins and SapphireX likes Bargain Bundle. You can potentially discover non-tribe minions like Brann. You get a minion and your teammate gets two. At worst, that is two gold for them. Or you can potentially give them a crucial piece for their build. And as Sapphire points out, you can potentially generate it (from Panda for example) and cycle when doing infinite things.

Why is the art on Golden Private Chef different than the normal Private Chef?

From my understanding of duos (me and my mate are around 4k rating so not that great), you would to buff or feed your overpowered team mate to help win more battles, I don't know it might be the reason we are still a low rating

With the bargain bundle, it cost 1 gold to pass so I guess the value is that you save 2 gold and your mate gets a free minion

I think bargain bundle is pretty decent as a duos player. You’re hoping to get one good thing from the discover that would make up three gold if you bought it. You’re then passing two minions to your partner, worst case scenario they sell them to make back the two extra gold but maybe they also get some value. It’s not crazy but I do think it’s good, you should come out even or slightly ahead most of the time versus regular buying. I’m also pretty sure mobster is going to be silly when combined with div shield.

I predict that one of the question marks will be the new minion type Draenei for BG
