this is a 1965 Dover--installed when the mall was first built; Macy's was originally O'Neil's of Akron. I still have to upload my video of this. this store still has the original PA speakers which have since been disconnected. The Macy's (originally a May Company store--which would later purchase O'Neil's sometime in the 1980s) at great Northern Mall in North Olmsted has the same exact interior, but except it is a modernized Montgomery.

I am of the generation that when sick and out of school, Watching Price is Right on the couch drinking a Sprite and eating chicken soup, was part of the experience and a treat. I hated when it was over because that meant it was time for my mother's "Soaps."
