We have Panchakarma programs starting as low as INR 3000 per day or USD $40 per day. The very best resorts tend to be in the range of $100 USD to $300 USD per day, or INR 8000 to INR 25,000 per day. We have places starting from INR 3000 per day for a non-AC room. The best places are typically between 10k and 20k per day. However, more important than price is to go to the right place for your health condition. It is better to go for fewer days at a higher price at the right resort than to go to the wrong resort just because the price was low.

Do you accept health insurance cashless?

Not at the moment. However, we have several partner resorts who will provide you with the necessary documentation, so that you can claim insurance. The cashless option is not there but many of our Indian clients have successfully claimed their wellness expenses at Ayurooms.

Yes, it is medicated ghee. Which exact ghee formulation, I am not sure. It was over six years ago. It is actually not black. It is more like a dark brown.

Hi Chozen7, you raise an interesting question. Having done panchakarma and the ghee drinking procedure at different resorts, I too have noticed that the colour of the ghee tends to vary. The reason, as I understand, is that there are different preparations of ghee for different dosha types (body constitutions) and different health ailments. I have had ghee that is brown, dark green, and yellow. The yellow ghee that I had was indicated for "general detox" and was not targeting a specific ailment. More recently, the brownish ghee that I had was intended for spinal health and strengthening. The green ghee was also for spine-related conditions. Ghees come in all kinds of colours. Green, yellow, brown, yellow-brown, golden yellow. The herbs that infuse the ghee lead to variation in colour.
