btw the “I’m sorry I deceived you” and the “I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you” at the end was actually a reference to the Japan pjsk and how in one of the stories was that ena found out misuki was trans-gender!

I’m happy to see another Metamorphosis enjoyer!! The novella was also my first thought when I heard “Samsa.” I also really love your interpretation of the song, though it feels weirdly jarring to hear “the pain” rather than the classic “zuki”, haha.
