1978 I lived in cabra west just next door to Luke Kelly over in glassnevin but was not aware of his grateness with or with out the Dubliners

Yes, Luke‘s voice was definitivly unique and impressive but for me a little bit to „shouting“ style.

Americans had their "bluegrass" yes, and that was/is good. to my bushy's ears Ronnie and Luke have the best of voices, a great selection o songs, and with such brilliant accompaniment, none better with Love from Australia

Luke was so good ...often saw him in Stephans Green ...only heard him once live in the Great Hall UCD , now the National Concert Hall... he had wonderful projection in his voice . Now Luke is gone but his music carries on... R I P
