Alice thank you so much! We went to Perth in April of 2023. We had hoped to immigrate from Anaheim Calif but it turned our we were to old. Still as Rose says "At Least we tried," To let you know your Tours were an inspiration. We loved our short stay. Perth is lovely with wonderful people. Lovely memories for the rest of our old life. Sorry this is so late. Hope all is well with you. Gary

Thank you...I lived in Perth from 1990-99...every inch of this drive was my own stomping ground. I lived in the northern suburbs and this was my journey to and from work every day....I am just in bits watching this...

Perth CBD empties out late afternoons on weekends, along with early closing of shopping hours. Then, nightlife starts early evening. It’s a sparsely populated city, unlike the 24/7 megacities elsewhere.

I wish you did more of doublewiew. You only caught the edge . I lived there in the 70s up till 83 . It all looks much busier now and lots of new houses replacing the old ones . Cheers

We’re all dressed very casually :) Wear comfy shoes/sneakers and a warm jacket, as it’s winter in Perth from June to August.

Nope, only one to worry about is the red back spider, but with modern medicine it hasn't killed anyone since i can remember.

The detour is one of Perth’s loveliest spots. Plenty of people walk or jog alongside the river.
