I think they might have told washburn they were trying to eliminate him from the other murder or he thought they were ruling him out from the other murder. That or he didnt understand DNA properly.

First Time to your podcast. Because of Shane story, forgive me I talk into my phone and I don’t always come out right lol one thing I’m confused about your podcast. I’m listening to it on KZbin when I went to your playlist all I see is title and the name of this Murder in the rain murder in the rain doesn’t give me a victims name so if I want to listen to that victim story, you know what I’m trying to say normally there’s a name and you click on the video and then that’s the videos about that person I don’t see it on yours am I missing something?

I remember a murder of a girl I knew from the bar scene in the 1980's I believe. She was found in the veterinary clinic where she worked and it was never solved. I now can find no information about it. Her name was Patti Loganbill and she was about 27 at the time. Does anyone else remember this girl from Salem, Or.

I just found your podcast! I grew up in both Gold Beach Oregon and the rogue valley. One of my moms friends growing up, Dodi Antunes was murdered along the rogue river near Agness, in the 80s on a camping trip. I grew up along their family and have been wanting to find out more about the tragedy. I looked it up and briefly saw a preview that you guys covered it but I can’t find it! I’m finding my way through the different episodes and I love that you’ve covered the areas I grew up in! There’s definitely some creepy history in the area!

Hello. I’m making an iceberg chart video for serial killers and unsolved murders in the PNW. I thought you guys might have some good recommendations for cases. What are some of the most obscure and/or darkest cases here?

I spent time in lockup at OSH Salem with Anholt and Krein. Both are extremely scary people who should not walk Oregon streets again.

Am I seriously going to have to be the one who makes the public information requests to unravel the "conflicting paperwork" and trace the buck-passing investigations myself? God, every fucking time!

Trash. Race baiting trash. Irish were fhe first slaces in America. Also native Americans had slaves. Why is everything about race in oregon. Liberals are do whack. Look at the burma railway without slave white labour that railroad wouldnt have been built either.

My family lived next door to Amanda and Jason for almost three years. Our kids were roughly the same age as Gavin and Trinity, so we spent a lot of time with their family and became quite close. If you ever decide to do a reprise on this story, I would be willing to share more about the experiences we had with them and the dynamics I witnessed between them and their extended families.

Another great episode. I live in the PNW so I can relate to your content. I was a teenager when GR was active. We would go over the Green River Bridge on our way to my uncle's condo. It was always such an eerie feeling.

Oregon State Police were very much aware that my missing mother was presented in 1978 as a perfect match. The night my grandparents flew into Pendleton to view the clothing on the Doe is not documented in the homicide file. Why? There is no date on her autopsy. Why? There is no dental exam or X-ray. Why? There is no death certificate on her or the baby. Why? Her name was Patricia Lee Otto but thanks to Oregon’s poor documentation, she may never come home.

That was an outstanding ridiculously great discussion with Ms. Morris. I’ve heard so many cheesy worthless podcasts by individuals who have zero business covering Bundy and his crimes. I’ve been reading about Ted since the late 70s just at the time he kidnapped Carol DaRonch. I’ve seen most everything out there. But your segment was a fascinating look into many details about Ann Marie Burr previously unknown to me. And, you all are some sharp and witty ladies. Truly a pleasure to come across your podcast. You should have a massive following! In any event I look forward to more of your content. Keep up the great 👍 work. Cheers!

This was the late 70's "Einsteins". The fact that cops had high priority murder cases also slips your empty heads. The Cops understood she wasn't hurt, and she didn't need really anyone considering she hurt him more then he hurt her. If she was desperate, she could have driven herself to the police station. The late 70's, early 80's changed many things in this country. It was also the fact that people NEVER talked about these issues because these Psycho's are an invention of the 70's, and 80's!! You seem to be very anti cops as well. Well, dips***** I sure hope you like how crime has skyrocketed and is going up further without your precious cops around. You might like to also know since I work at the border, you have many ex-con, criminal, males all entering this country. Look up the stats on the deaths from drugs, murders, and rapes that have happened. But, of course, your too dumb, and reading off of a paper. Not speaking from your "heart". You people are EVERYTHING WRONG with this country.

Misty was my friend and I dated Michael tinnen aka Black panther. I was also friends with Angela kinkaid I believe unless you lived the streets no one could understand the dynamics that play huge factor in who's involved and what they may or may not know. I think Oregon failed the victims in this case and created new ones that didn't have to be if they could have tried the defenders appropriately.
