I love the house. The contemporary design is stunning. The kitchen though, although simple and clean, seems like the stove in a wooden cupboard seems like a bad idea.

They knocked down a beautiful old period cottage to build that thing? They could have restored the cottage. Some people have no class and culture. It looks like a doctor's clinic.

I think you have no class and culture yourself - you have no idea of what is a beautiful home - this house is amazing and such an achievement! - i think you are just a jealous person and wish you where in this beautiful family's position to build such a gorgeous home- keep your option to yourself and get a life!!! stop judging someone for working hard to build their dream home - at the end of the day they have worked hard and deserve what they have achieved.

This design in Brighton must have cost a fortune, makes me wonder what they do for a living. The house is a bit stark and modern for my liking, bit much glass but the Architect/builder sounds to be a great person to have on board the build.

Wow. This home takes my breath away. Something so complicated to build, the end product looks simplistic, so beautiful. I think that is hard to pull off, it's like art...

Great looking build, but an uncomfortable looking home to live in. There is no intimate spaces, just large mostly unused spaces with pretentious furniture arrangements eg. bed and rug. And how can they afford a monstrosity of a house but have a 40" tv on the wall.

+mrrrloc Perhaps they don't watch tv much many don't and especially considering they must work a great deal to afford such a house they probably have little time for watching tv.

It does look very roomy, and, i guess, since Australia is largely tropical, having so much living space must feel very comfortable
