I had mine 3 yrs and have yet to have it work. I can't get the programming maybe too many years in the welding trade. Anyway I bought this just before I retired as I wanted to have a hobby, but turns out all it is is a piece of equipment that is taking up space in my garage.

Is steel fuel line antiquated at this point? I see everyone using this type of line front to back.
@crazycaseyscustoms9 күн бұрын
@@davidpurser3179 Antiquated!? I mean…regular old parts store steel will still rust on the inside, so that’s not great. If you use the inverted flare fittings/couplers, it gets spendy. If you don’t, you gotta find a way to put a bubble flare on it so the hose clamps will hold properly with EFI pressures. Stainless is a HUGE pain to work with. I had this truck fully plumbed in 3/8” aluminum line, and flared the ends with my brake flaring kit, and it was pretty sano for the carbureted setup, but they say not to run aluminum for EFI (evidently it’ll crack under pressure). And then there’s this stuff. It’s not “cheap”, but nothing is these days, so, it’s actually kinda comparable, if I’m honest. This whole kit with pump, regulator, and pre and post filters only runs $450, so the plumbing is roughly ~$200 of that. It’s Teflon, so it will last…forever!? Pretty hard to beat…

I understand. Check Home Depot dot com. They typically will have the lowest price on Bendpak stuff. And look, I’m not one to advocate using credit cards (I pay cash for everything), but I did in this instance, and got a helluva deal on this lift, and will have it paid off at $100/mo long before I ever pay a dime of interest. Just my $0.02…

Great information! Thank You! I see you moved to an Everlast plasma cutter. Is that the 82i? How do you like it versus the Razorweld? Thanks in advance!
@crazycaseyscustoms17 күн бұрын
The Everlast 62i is perfectly acceptable, @@franknaugle8738 , but moving to it from my Primeweld Cut60 was purely a trouble shooting move. Langmuir considered the Primeweld machine to be a “variable” in my setup, and it ended up that it was NOT the cause of ANY of my issues. From a customer service standpoint, Primeweld blows Everlast out of the water. I have also had to deal with rebuilding the Everlast air solenoid a couple of times, which is more of a general annoyance than anything. In terms of cut quality, they are both top notch, though I think Primeweld’s machine torch may be just a bit nicer. If I was starting over, I would buy the Primeweld Cut60 again. It’s a fantastic machine and an excellent value.

😂 @@davidpurser3179 . That damn ring! They have you drill a 2-1/8” hole, but the bottom of the ring has an 1/8” rib all the way around it which points down into the tank!? It’s definitely something I need to bring up with Aces…could be a design/production discrepancy that hasn’t been addressed. Regardless, it went together with some effort…
