Stalwart, goes anywhere. Had some of these in my troop back in the 70s, the lads favourite trick on freezing cold mornings was getting them to backfire, all those petrol fumes in a huge long exhaust; sounded like a 155mm howitzer!

Probably a quick change motorsport style diff. These cars didn't have to be factory other than the side profile and wheelbase basically iirc. And perhaps a production head and block casting. The engine sat longitudinal like a RWD car.

You may want to look into that rear leaf shackle mounting. The spring eyelet isn't supposed to be above the shackle and at that extreme of an angle.
