Jamás recomendaría este hotel. Estuve este agosto .y deja mucho que desear .aparte de qe está en la peor playa de menorca. Es un tres estrellas no un 4. Lleno de moscas.y vasos de plástico que reutilizan en el bar una i otra vez . Aunque los lavan . Huelen. La comida repetitiva. De poca calidad.

Y ni siquiera 3. Ni un zumo de naranja natural. Toda bebida de barri. El agua embotellada te la ponen abierta en las comidas. La comida poca variedad. El parkin de pago. 5 euros al dia. De Barcelo... Lo cohi por el nombre....a mala hora....

My family of 14 people Just stayed at Occidental Cozumel… (PRE-hurricane). it was a disaster. Backed up toilets, non air- conditioned dinner hour… this place is shamefully bad. OH and I was “royal level” which does nothing but give you a number to call where they hang up on you. BARCELONA GROUP HOTELS should be ashamed.

Please don't ever pay this hotel with a credit card because they will charge in whichever currency they want without informing the customer. I had a really bad experience with this hotel. I made a reservation for two rooms and I was told that in order to make a reservation I had to pay in full. I told the person taking my reservation that I was going to pay in cash when checking in but he said that it was not an option so I gave him my credit card information to charge 1699 for both rooms. I got an email with the reservation detail and the amount charged but the amount was charged in USD!!!. This hotel is in Guatemala, just to be clear and the official currency is Quetzal. I called the hotel and asked why I was charged in USD, I was never told that the prices were in USD. Even when I said that I was going to pay in cash at check in. Never in all the conversation it was mentioned USD prices. After going back and forth with about 6 different people and calling multiple times and explaining over and over the same thing no one wanted to take responsibility. I was told that my reservation was taken by the call center and that it was a different department. After about an hour of talking with different people, people that would not provide their name, I asked to speak with a supervisor and of course since my call has gone to the call center they will try that department. At some point a representative told me that ALL hotels in Guatemala charge in USD. Which so NoT true. All the hotels in Guatemala charge in Quetzal. So disrespectful trying to fool people so that they can get away with fraud. Ivania Arias approved my cancellation because they didn't want to cancel it and Ivania Arias also told me that I was going to get the credit for the full amount. MUCHÍSIMO CUIDADO con las tarjetas regalo obtenidas en la web de Barceló Hoteles. Te puedes encontrar con que al llegar el personal quiera hacerte pagar la estancia esgrimiendo que la tarjeta puede no tener saldo y que le puedes estar engañando, con esas palabras. Aunque la compres en la web de Barceló Hotels Group, el servicio de tarjetas regalo lo tienen externalizado en una empresa llamada GIVEX, y tienen problemas para coordinar sus sistemas, el problema lo paga el cliente, a pesar de que les hayas dejado tu dinero en depósito previamente. Y además te dirán después que en la letra pequeña de la compra de la tarjeta pone que puede haber interrupciones y que el Hotel no se hace responsable, que es cierto que lo pone, pero no es de recibo. Por lo tanto, puedo asegurar que las GIFT CARD de Barceló Hoteles no son confiables.

Need to clean under the beds and cabinets for dirty and dust build up in the Tropical and Colonial. Not good for people with allergies.

The worst place, be careful people if you visit the worst place in Ixtapa barcelo. It’s is controlled by a gang of thieves who steal your information to steal your money 🤢🤮

Todo exelente lastima que no cuentan con equipo o con gente capacitada para atender una emergencia mi hija se fracturó un pie en una banqueta y solo tenían una pomada para aplicarle aparte nadie se preocupo por darle algún seguimiento a nuestro problema ni tampoco se ofrecieron para ver si necesitábamos algún tipo de apoyo Creo que falta una figura que tenga autoridad y apoye en estos casos Porque me hubiera gustado ver si un americano se lastimara creo que la atención seria diferente x Temor a alguna demanda o a una mala imagen con los extranjeros

I have stayed here all week. Nov 5th until the 10th. I have had better food at a roadside Mexican food truck. Got up 1st morning, no hot water, great! Refrigerator in room doesn’t work. Only 1 ice machine works in my wing , on the 5th floor, my room is on the 1st. The DJ they have doesn’t know the crowd. The 90% majority of guest are 40-70 year old range, I’m 70. All we listen to all day is rap, disco and mariachi. Fan in room doesn’t work. It’s 10:00 at night and the “music “ in the outside bar is resonating through the whole complex, and I am almost as far away as possible. Not happy with anything except the friendly hard working staff who are doing their best to make sure that you have everything you need. Stay elsewhere, I wish there was a McDonalds near here.
