It should be 어제 친구를 만났어요 :) 을 or 를 (the object marker) is used in this case.

Can you change "Please take out of______." to "Please take out/ take off the____"? That's a more accurate translation.

Thank you. The beginner level was great and easy to understand. The step to intermediate was like riding a bike and then jumping on a fast train, like KTX. So bad for me, just recognized only a few words. So I skipped the last one after a few sentences in the advanced level.

I'm at intermediate level, i learned so much vocabulary by watching kdrama and speaking with my korean teacher. I can understand 45-50% of an ep of a kdrama without subtitles. And i memorize the most by listening, not by reading or writing. I don't write vocabulary, memory flashcard doesn't work for me. If only we can just memorize by reading seeing just one time and memorized it like that but it doesn't work like that, doesn't work lile that for me. But listening and watching kdrama, little korean tv show, korean youtuber i remember si fast like that and they use same words they repeat but in a fun way and different context. For example, i remember 책임, 죄책함, 보호자, 앉아, 엎드려 in the korean tv show Dog are incredible 개는 훌륭하다.

so 는/은 is if when your talking about a group of cats and all of them are gray, you would use 는/은 to describe all of those gray cats. but 이/가 is used when your talking about cats and your only pointing out 1 gray cat because the rest are black. is this correct or am i stupid

Half of your guess is correct! When mentioning a general fact, 는 is used. But when you discover unusual things, 이/가 is used. If you discover that a group cats are grey, you say 고양이가 회색이에요. or 모든 고양이가 회색이에요. If one of them is a black cat, you say 한 고양이만 검은색이에요. Here, the particle 만, meaning 'only,' is used to specify that it is the only black cat among them.
