@@BKheights14 l know this is an older thread but... NEVER EVER wear gloves trimming models. Been lab tech for 43 years. I tell anyone I instruct to never wear gloves. If by chance it got caught by the wheel, it could be tragic.

QUESTION: How do you get that model of the teeth? My dentist took an impression with the putty, so how do you convert that impression into an actual model of my teeth and mouth? Thank you!

Matt D we pour dental plaster in that putty impression and once it sets we take that model/cast out.

how can you make sure that the occlusal is parallel? my cast usually looks chinning up in occlusion? do you have a technique on how to pout in a base?
