I’m only getting ac at the out put on my amp when the volume is over 14 anything under subs won’t come on and have no volts but soon as I turn it up to certain volume they cut on but not good it’s distorted and can tell it’s not properly working

I think EMF audio did a test on this and it was surprising how quickly wire gets hot. It definitely pays to go overkill if you plan on running lots of power. Im planning on running 4 gauge speaker wire for 6k-8krms
