I fly this route about twice a year to visit my girlfriend overseas. I'm coming from Belgium so I have to fly into LHR first. But the 777-200 is an amazing plane, I have recorded the sound of the engine spool up numerous times. AA service is pretty good most of the time. I remember, back in february of last year, the plane was only at 50% capacity or even less, and the flight attendants told us we could just lay down on the entire row of seats (they tried to seat everyone in such a way that everyone had an entire row for themselves). Awesome flight. Doing it again on the 2nd of Feb 2024.
