Micro Nuclear plants make more sense than the "Macro" plants like 3-Mile island. Newer technology, safer technology, rapid deployment, and much lower costs.

total bullshit and US poopaganada. not one single case of IP theft has ever been proven. the IP was sold to China, and it was low IP. IBM and others are losing because they can no longer compete, nor innovate. the Chinese are superior innovators and developers. Chinese products are now superior in quality, and at a lower price. the americunts simply cannot compete.

Total American BS and propaganda. Next they’ll say it’s national security if Chinese EVs come to USA. It wasn’t too long ago, American businesses were tripping over each other to do business in China. Now that China is succeeding in business, USA wants to suppress it. One thing, China is not Mexico who can be bullied and manipulated. Go China 🇨🇳!

For Chinese critics of Hsiao, here's the inconvenient truth for you all to ponder on. Chinese Communist Party declared itself independent and started a civil war in China in 1949. CCP supported Taiwan independence for over 50 years (1920-1980s) in order to thwart China's old nationalist KMT government exiled to Taiwan. Beats me how CCP could have the gall to oppose Taiwan independence. So it is ok for CCP to split China, start civil war, declare independence, support Taiwan independence but the same does not apply to Taiwanese? Sounds pretty racist to me. Truth is CCP always had imperialist ambitions, chase away Western imperialists and replace it with CCP imperialism / fascism. This is reminiscent of the pig that chased away the farmer in George Orwell's Animal Farm and tried to stand on two legs like a human.

She started her career in politics when she was in the States, working for DPP, and then returned to Taiwan in the late 90s. She left Taiwan again in 2020 because she was appointed as Taiwan's representative to the US. I am curious where that she lived most of her adult life in the US thing comes from.

Her childhood was spent in Taiwan. She finished her high school and college and graduate school in US. Soon after, she started her political career in Taiwan. She spent some time to study doctorate degree in US but didn't finish it. She speaks excellent fluent Mandarin(Chinese). Well, my mother tongue is Taiwanese. Hsiao's Taiwanese is much better than mine. I don't see any reason that she can't represent Taiwan independence.
