For asme-04b have you used the servo.h library? When I set it to 180 degrees with .write(180), it goes to 270 instead. Why does this happen? Is there a way to make 180 goto 180 with servo.h library?

ASME-02B means it’s American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard? Would be great to have such a standard with such a powerful motor in it.

I think the ME stands for magnetic encoder.

Hey so I'm completely lost what is the set up in terms of wiring? I have the power supply connected to the two green ports and then a control button like yours hooked up to the pmw side but I get no rotation?

Is the board required to use the Servo? Or could you just connect the Servo directly to the tester?

the red board has the motor driver, the blue tester only sends very low power pulses to tell the red board the desired position/angle

@@Sifu-Myers in this case the blue tester is like the arduino and the red circuit board is like the small circuit board inside the servos sold for RC cars and boats and drones

you can, if you do not mind your arduino live a VERY SHORT LIFE, try use a drive like vnh2sp30 install on your arduino

Is there anyway to do mixing between both 2 types of movements like (flaperon mixing in radio controlled airplanes models)? In other simple way .....i can control both servos with one potentiometer to move in oposite directions and with another potentiometer (in the same circuit) to control both of them in one direction. And if you moved both potentiometers at the same time then mixing between movements occurs!

This is an absolute encoder, currently it is servoing within 360 degrees.

Balaji Anandan servos suggested by you use potentiometers. The one in the video uses the magnetic sensor instead of a pot.
