I didn’t realize Halo’s theme is a real Gregorian chant. Lands of Lore III was first!!! 😂

Does anyone know where the Dreamweb song at the end of this video is from? It's some kind of remix or cover of a few different songs on the soundtrack with some added voice lines, and I can't find it anywhere. I really like it.
@HC-qc5rp4 ай бұрын
I found it!! It's called "Back to Sleep" from the remastered Dreamweb OST, Side B.

I remember being a kid and seeing all these incredible games that lined the shelves of CompUSA. Beautiful artwork, cool velcro flip-open panels, screenshots, glossy cardboard. Compared to what was on consoles at the time, it really seemed like every conceivable game had been made for PC. Well, revisiting these games I never played decades later, few of them live up to a child's imagination. But the soundtracks still capture the energy of a PC games market that was just starting to stretch its legs, and for a minute, I imagine I'm playing the games I had dreamed up.

This is timeless. Thank you for putting this together. Kinda makes me envious really. These composers had some of the best jobs in the world.

Game music used to be awesome when it had to be the majority of the soundtrack in games. Nowadays it's dialogue and atmosphere which is fine but it will never be the same!
