When I'm drilling for magnets, I first use an xacto blade to make a small divot by placing the point in the right spot and rotating it a couple times. This provides a place for the drill to settle in quickly and not walk around. Also I find it easier to more accurately place it in the correct spot with the fine point of the xacto than using the drill.

Congrats on getting GW85! It is a fantastic game. Like the 3D flight stand markers, look forward to seeing what you decide to do with yours. I use a color tipping scheme (& matching beads) to identify unit type, freeing up the flight stand markers to be other things. The game does have a Top Gun designation for some Air Superiority Fighters - so keep keep that in mind.

Love HBG unboxing videos, great to see what cool sculpts people are getting. As you decide your paint scheme, recommend being able to identify Naval aircraft from Air Force units. There are several optional Expansions coming out- including my favorite: Naval Aviation. (And having 2 wings of Air Superiority Fighters is a good thing. You’ll use them.)

@@Tabletoptactician I recall you mentioning that in your video, sounds very cool. You could do squadron logos or air frame designations… lots of personalization options there. Be fun to see what you come up with. A little thing I do, which means nothing to anyone but makes me happy was painting red afterburners on all my air superiority fighters. Not multi-role fighters or anything else but my F-14s, F-15s and ASF Migs. Plus, I fly my Air Superiority Fighters on the taller flight stands with the Strategic Bombers.
