Steve, how regular do you race the kart? I am amased by how much you crunched within the 10 minutes of frame, especially with a paltry start in the rear. My favourite highlight: well executed double pass 👏

Not sure if you still check this channel, but would you say the brakes on these are more similar to the 9HP rental karts or competition karts. Flying across the pond to try it out in February!

Hey. I’m in the Club 100 YDC and I’m racing at Buckmore park for the final round of the championship. And I just want to know how to get more consistent. Because in R1 at Whilton Mill I was too 5 on pace but I crashed in quali so started 20th. Got up to 10th in race 1 and was running 4th in race two (or 5th) and was catching the pack in front of me but I made a mistake and managed about 13th. At Rye House I was very slow at first qualified 17/30 so not great but by the end of the day I was lapping 2 tenths of the leaders in my class so the pace was eventually there. I believe I can fight for podiums, maybe a win on the odd occasion but I’m a rookie so don’t have the consistency for that yet and that’s what I want to work on so yh. What’s your advice or me. Sorry this was so long. 👍

So really quick i have a couple questions if thats ok. First great video, looks awesome. Im from america and i race 206 karts which is 4 cycle. On tiny tracks they get around 50+ on big tracks they can draft 70+. I am enlisting in the military soon and praying that I get sent to england so I can race club 100 and have an even playing field as far as karts. 1. Are the karts really kept even? Or do people find ways to bend the rules? Are these rental 2 cycles really THAT much faster than my 4 cycle? Just wondering because we purchase our own slicks and can put on a really soft pair, whereas i dont know if the club 100 tires are harder and their engines maybe limited? Just wondering. 3. Can winning in club 100 at the highest level (is it elite?) get you noticed? Obviously not straight to f1 but maybe by somebody who sells you a discount on a chassis, wants you to run their owned kart, or a karting team? Sorry for the book, thanks cal.
@eddiemcevoy38883 жыл бұрын
hi mate, I do the BUKC which is a competition operated by Club 100 for University students. The karts are exactly the same, you can not change anything about them. There are certain minimum weight requirements that you have to adhere to but they provide the lead to do so. These karts will not be as fast as your 4 cylinder but you'll go fairly quick on them maybe reaching 50 mph on the straight before the final corner. CLub 100 tyres are very hard and are pumped up to quite a high pressure as well. Club 100 will probably not get you noticed as this is arrive and drive karting unless you have a larger online audience. Hope this helps, Cheers.
