I don’t think this will work on autistic people they don’t like to pretend things are there when they are not there

What should be the duration for every activity on the sensory circuit?
@WandsworthLocalOffer3 жыл бұрын
Sensory circuits can be done at intervals throughout the day when your child requires a sensory movement break and time to regulate. The duration of each activity is dependent on the child's arousal levels, if they are highly aroused you may spend more time on calming activities, if they have low levels of arousal you may spend slightly longer on alerting activities. We would advise 1-3 minutes on each activity on average

I’m going there in a few days, I already booked it but after checking again I realised it said the minimum height was 1.4M, but it also said before I booked it, that it was available for all ages, this was the treetop one and not the junior one, so I obviously got confused, will a 7 year old be able to go?
@WandsworthLocalOffer4 жыл бұрын
The best thing to do is to ring them, the team are really friendly and will be able to help you out.

This video was just brought to my attention. Very disappointing when there was more activities and things taken place. This video does not represent what it was about the autistic children and families.
@WandsworthLocalOffer5 жыл бұрын
Yes you are right there was a lot more going on that day including a bouncy castle, the Mayor in attendance, football, and lots of kids playing about with their families, however, due to consent issues were are not always able to film/photos everything we see. Hopefully we managed to capture some of the services available to parents, the views of parents and organisers, and some kids having fun with trains.

This was one of the most engaging talks on helping children and young people with a SEND, the talk was over 2 hours long and the video shows about 7 minutes, watch it all the way to the end to see the entire section Neil was explaining.

This was filmed at the end of such a hot day, Subrena came in especially for this on her day off so a big thank you to her for making the effort, all the young people at the club were very thankful for her advice.
