Correction: Y'all were the first Indians in Durban. The first Indians in South Africa actually arrived in Cape Town during the Dutch colonial era, as slaves, in 1684. A conservative calculation based strictly on records shows over 16 300 slaves from the Indian subcontinent having been brought to the Cape. In the decades 1690 to 1725 over 80% of the slaves were Indians. All in all, I really love your video.

Nice VLOG! 0:34 First mistake - You need flat stones :) Imagine my surprise on seeing Gqeberha on goggling Port Elizabeth! So the trend of renaming of cities with colonial names has hit South Africa too? 16:33 Its a matter of time before they start charging for using the loo! 17:47 Does he make the bread too?! May I request the recipe? That looks yum!

Looks like your dad is more hilarious. But actually those words weren't funny to me coz am a tamilian and those are just tamil words which are still in use there. Its just like how tamilians in india use the english words 'table' 'chair' even while talking in tamil. I think your origin is kerala which is why it all sounds strange. Anyways i came across this vlog while checking if i can find a video where indians walk in the streets of durban to have an idea about the safety situation but could'nt find even one. Maybe i'll put it this way. Couldn't find even one but.

I am the third generation living in Pietermaritzburg. My grandfather and his cousin arrived here in the late 1800. They worked in the Timber Mill in the Greytown area. I can't see myself going to live in India, and I won't be able to adapt to the way of life in India.

It's a simple farm life with a lovely family: Dad, Mom, Hensuuya, Mahendrie, and Orio. Your reddish eye will go away; it's nothing a farm woman like you can't handle! Your long jacket covers your bum perfectly-can't see a thing! Love your lunges-how many did you do? Next time, try touching your knee to the ground. You're getting stronger. It's wonderful to watch your simple life amidst a chaotic world. Thank you, Sandhira.

I’m Asian/non-Indian and on 2 seperate occasions, I had one Indian man on the bus stare at my chest, and when I looked over to see why he was looking at me, he looked away. The moment I looked away, HE DARED TO LOOK BACK AT ME can you believe that? And then I quickly looked back at him and he looked away. Another instance when I was a cashier bagging someone’s items, a very respectable and well mannered Indian man brought I believe his 2 cousins who obviously were not from the area I’m from leered at me / looked at me up and down as if they’ve never seen.. a girl? Or a human being before? Like I wasn’t even wearing anything revealing or anything? Just a regular t-shirt and jeans 😐. I could only imagine what those looks would do if some other girl was wearing a tighter and shorter shirt?? All my life of living in Canada I always had a good impression of Indian ppl, (most Indian people I’ve met have been so polite, respectful and well-mannered) so to have this happen especially on 2 seperate occasions is kinda odd and disturbing
