Have you ever printed out a mask like this on the 3D printer as a form, you could then fill it with paper mache or wood paste.
@Mindsigh1321 күн бұрын
Great idea, I do not have a 3d printer though.
@kairomon434421 күн бұрын
@@Mindsigh13 Thanks, you can also upload it online, it doesn't cost much, most of the website calculates how much it costs, I think a mask like this costs max 50 dollars, the mask can also be made with wood paste or glass powder mixed with glue (pate de verre technic).

fascinating - looks v cool do you build everything in godot, or do you create in blender and then import into godot? i've never used godot 3d - looks like fun :-)
@Mindsigh136 ай бұрын
Hey again, Thanks. Yeah, it's all made in Blender other than the character from Mixamo. Gonna replace that though. I think you would dig Godot. It's not as robust as Unreal, but it has it's charms.

@@Mindsigh13 very nice; i dabbled in godot 2d and that was fun; i guess we all hope that godot's on a similar journey to blender which is almost unrecognisable today compared to when i first fired it up 7 or 8 years ago; Good Luck

@Mindsigh136 ай бұрын
Hey, welcome and Thanks. Hmmm, as for sculpting in Blender, there are quite a few great tutorials on KZbin to get ya started. It depends on what style you are trying to go with. Stylized: www.youtube.com/@3DCore_art or Realistic Humans: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIGkp6l8bdWsZ68 You should check out a few zbrush artists as well for sure such as Creature Corner on the Twitch Gnomon channel if you want to make monsters. Hope that helps. I would say just sculpt as much as you can though.

@Mindsigh138 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks. Ummm, it's just using the compositor nodes. Run the Render layer through a directional blur and then to color mix with a Flip node on the top or bottom x axis...then do the same for the y axis then to output. Most of my set-ups include this somewhere in the nodes.
