Great idea about the keel How did you decide on the angle of the taper of the keel. From narrow at the ends to wider in the middle

I set the middle part of the keel wider and higher, then carved a natural curve using a plane. I used a long flexible strip to draw a smooth curve from stem to stem. Keel work was very challenging for me.

첫번째는 나무면 샌딩을 곱게 해줘야합니다. 그래도 번진다면 마스킹테이프를 잘 붙게 밀어 눌러주시거나 비싼 거 쓰셔야 번짐없이 깔끔하게 나옵니다.

소목하셨으면 준비는 다 되신거네요. ㅎㅎ 스트립은 가공할 수 있는 날물이 있습니다. 알리에서 6mm 비드, 코브 날물 구매해서 암수가공 하면 됩니다. 목재는 북미적삼목이 가장 좋은데 가격이 너무 올랐고 저는 일본 스기목을 사용하였습니다. 네이버 킬보트 카페에서 많은 정보 얻으실 수 있습니다.

делаешь из эпоксидной смолы, а в названии пишешь, что из кедра! Кишка тонка у тебя из кедра сделать без эпоксидки. Лайк тебе только за старания и мастерство.

잘봤습니다....카누 보다는 카약의 형상에 가깝네요...뾰족하고 길쭉한게...카누는 좀 더 폭이 넓어도 되는데....폭이 좁고 길쭉하면 속도는 잘나와도 카누를 타고 내릴 때 많이 흔들림...속도야 경기할게 아니라.... 그리고 시트를 위에 매다는게 아니고, 밑에다 다리를 받치는 형식으로 제작해서 고정하는 것도 독특하고...

What is he using to cover the strips..i don't think it's fiberglass..at least all the fiberglass around here has green tinge to it when it dries...its not clear

고대 철을 생산 하고부터 철물이 사용되었습니다. 한옥이 못 하나 안쓴다고 일반인들의 오해가 있는데요. 가구부, 즉 집의 골조를 이루는 모든 부위는 못을 쓰지 않습니다. 서까레는 얹혀지는 부재라 철물로 고정해야합니다. 국내 문화재 건축물들도 철물이 사용되었습니다.

I made this model a few years ago and found it very stable even in rough water. I was able to get western red cedar for the strips. I did not staple them to the stations but rather strapped in each strip with surgical tube and waited for it to dry for the next piece. It took a little longer but the look was well worth it. I also made the freedom 17 that is in Teds book too. For each of the plans I got them out of the book rather than purchase them. The freedom 17 is a great design for tripping in the BWCA. I put a slider seat in it and that works very well on windy days as well as smooth water. The freedom is also very stable when loaded but not so when empty.

No Epoxy in the stems like in America because it is a waste of money and time. tighter joints, no dark glue lines. Perfect technique.
