The sichuan pepper is so strong in Journey man that reminds of chinese sichuan hotpot. Its a lemony pepper scent. Very jarring for beginners. But I love the opening. The dry down is beautiful smoky, a bit kf leather, and that earthy woody cypriol. I love it. I wear it almost daily. Even when going to the grocery store. I love it that much. I even spray it on my hand before going to bed. Very underrated Amouage in my opinion.

It worked, but not without the Bose USB charging cable that came with the unit. I unknowingly tried 2 others thinking they were the Bose cord and got no where. I was about to give up when I finally found the cord with "Bose" on it! Thank you, so much, glad to have my speaker back!

Naaah,I realy tried to like Maracuja but this fruity note is just not for me. Yes it goes pretty quick and what's left is like O Nomade extrait density if it existed. One more thing. Sprayer is awful. Mancera sprayer is perfection for this one.

This is excellent. Opening of pissy honey last for 3/4 hours on my skin and then i am starting getting powdery tobacco. Smells like mixture of xerjoff 40 knots and aaron terence hughes tabac to my nose. Performance outstanding.

I find 53 to be quite different to the original release of Interlude, the modern reformulations are a bit weak for me. I would agree that it can definitely generate funny looks haha, you have to have some confidence to wear it as certainly some people around you will not like it. With Interlude 53, I get a fruity berry that persists. It fades from the nuclear burned bush opening to a whiter, sweeter smoky amber. Creamy sweet, spicy coffee with heavy incense/oud smoke and honey-dipped oregano is what I get. The bakhoor/herbal/sandalwood in the dry down is my favourite part of Interlude and 53. In terms of performance on my skin 53 sticks to the skin with a vengeance. I have to scrub it off, and it persists post-shower. I am less of a fan of black iris, for that sort of thing I'd prefer something like Dior Homme Parfum, which is a fantastic iris.

Because of this review I tested "Decas" today. Indeed, the top notes are more "special", but after 20-30 minutes the perfume becomes excellent. Therefore, use the reviews just to have an idea. Test on your own skin before making a purchase decision.

It has a lot of incense for a tobacco fragrance, it could easily be called royal tobacco but Cecile Zarokian is very good at it, like the transitions are gorgeous and thoughtful

I recently was gifted a bottle from my father. He recently came back from the UK. At first, I was not a fan as my nose wasn’t used to the green scent.. After a few uses, I can’t stop smelling it and myself. It’s such a clean, fresh, aromatic scent. Feels futuristic yet natural.

I tried this in winter time and enjoyed it a lot more, was more balanced in terms of sweetness but still, unfortunately for me, too sweet. Warmer weather only accentuates that facet :(
