This looks so good. I'm very surprised that you mix savory, with sweet. I see that this is more on the sweet side. I think it would also be good using brown sugar or maple syrup. I know the nutritional value of the Irish moss. I have not been able to find it here in Fairbanks Alaska, but maybe I can order it somewhere. Thank you for your video. Yes, it is definitely on the sweet side so it’s good that because we prepare it ourselves we therefore have control over how much sweeteners we use. I like playing around with different flavors and that’s how I discovered implementing Sea/Irish Moss which isn’t traditionally use in this dish. Shoutout to Alaska :). We just came through −55 below weather last week. It did warm up, but that drives the frost down & causes our sewer lines to freeze. 🤪 Just trying to get through this Winter. You’re welcome! Base on research it’s said to be a power house. We have been using it and reaping its benefits successfully. -55 freezing 🥶the lowest I’ve ever experience is -2. Sounds like freezing sewer line and pipes are to be expected. I’m a tropical girl :) don’t do well in the cold lol. All praises I’m thankful for my family. I've had best luck with red potatoes. I just use the ones from the store after they begin to sprout. I also recently read that storing an onion with them at the start will encourage them to begin sprouting. Then remove the onion so it does not rot. Good luck! Never quit! Keep trying. Try different things at once. See what does best for your soil, weather, amount of sun, etc. keep records of how long you let them grow (from the time the sprouts break the top of the soil). They don't like to be left in the ground too long... Every time I harvest, I replenish the soil and plant again. Works ok for me this far south in Alabama

Don’t be discouraged. Yukon Gold potatoes are not a high yielding variety, but in my opinion they are one of the best eating. Red Pontiacs have alway produced the highest yields for me. Kennebecs are another high yielding variety. Keep at it.
