"The 'uni-brow' steel cross brace (1) that connects to the bottom of the front bumper brackets is common to all 1970 Chargers & Coronet models when equipped with the M81 option for front bumper guards or the M85 option on Coronets that included front & rear bumper guards." Thank you teaching me something new about these cars. I never knew bumper guards were an option on Mopar muscle cars but you're absolutely right it was an option that a person could have ordered on the '70 Charger but not sure if it was an available option on the R/T model. The car was restored back to its original form just as it came from the factory. The bumper guard was not an option on its original window sticker. We meticulously documented everything including the SAE stickers you see in the engine compartment. This car never came with a bumper guard. Awesome!!!! You're going to be so happy when it's done. If you need any help finding parts I'd be happy to share all my research and sources I found putting mine together. If I were you I would definitely start finding your small interior pieces, especially the correct carburetor, glasses etc now because those pieces are fast becoming extinct and unobtainable. The actual taxicabs are the 4 door modern ugly things they call Chargers.

Lolol. No there are enough General Lee tributes out there. I'm a real purist and strive to put them back down to the tires/wheels just like they came from the factory unless it's a period correct piece like the tires/wheels on my Super Bee. @@MoparMan1 I prefer factory correct when possible. Restored my 72 SE twenty plus years ago,so glad I outgrew my 80s chrome pipe dreams by that time and dld stock resto including the GA4 lt gunmetal that was hated at the time.

@@MoparMan1 Yeah the body wasn’t in the best shape but the engine and transmission had very low miles and oil changes before they were due. I just wanted the engine and transmission I didn’t care much about the rest of it. It’s not easy to find a 455 Rocket especially a 455 Super Rocket

@@MoparMan1 I own a 1972 Charger and that’s the best I can do so seeing this Masterpiece 69 Super Bee is an awesome sight. One of the things that I was impressed about was the wheels, some people have awesome vehicles and then they make a big mistake and put these 20” wheels on them and destroy the interest in my opinion to even want to look at the rest of the vehicle. Heck yeah I’ll subscribe 👍

Thank you so much. I love those Chargers. My uncle had a '73 Charger and I was so in love with that car. He had the slotted Mags with side pipes that ran along the underside of the doors. JC Whitney items. As a kid I would cry just to get my uncle to take me for a ride to hear those pipes. Lolol. You have a real treasure in your '72 Charger. It's definitely on my list of having one day.

@@MoparMan1 Thank you, My neighbor used to call it the black jet 😁👍 The original engine was a 400 that was stripped down to a short block and locked up when I bought it. I shoehorned in a 383 I had sitting around but it was pretty tired. So I ran across a healthy 440 with the original carburetor I can’t remember the name of it, now I feel pretty dumb because I can spout it out immediately but can’t remember right now, oh well all I can say is with my quiet exhaust the sound of that big four barrel opening up got pretty expensive 😆👍 I’ll remember what kind of carburetor it was when I’m not thinking about it. The primaries are about the same size as most secondary’s on a lot of other four barrel carbs. Thank you for your video’s keep them coming 👍

@MoparMan1 thanks. 84 c10 all original with dual gas tank was passed down to my wife but I take care of it 66k original miles. Delta 88 royale all original. Even original ac compressor still works and original radio. 455 fully rebuilt with hooker long tube headers, edelbrock high rise intake, 4 bbl carburetor, 2.5 inch hpipe with flowmasters. Electric choke. Converted to electronic ignition. Top fully rebuilt and redone. Even brand new bumper.
