what I do is use OBV and ADX. When there is a achange between OBV and ADX ( a divergence if you like) it yields good results. ALso drop a Moving average on both so you can easily see the shift in direction. I used to use MFI but ADX is my preferred volume indicator. I may explore Chaikin. Thank you for the video

So ATR is giving you the idea of how much it can move in 14 periods? Or how much volatility it has every given period?

It saddens me to see another inaccurate Bill Williams video on KZbin. Literally 2:45 into the video where a zero line cross is indicated as a signal is 100% incorrect. Please refer to Bill Williams: "New Trading Dimensions" under "AC Signals" where Williams clearly states a zero line cross on the AC indicator is NOT a signal of any kind. Also, if this indicator is used by itself you will get wrecked, this is part of a holistic system. I cannot imagine giving inaccurate information to 12,000 people at this point now. I encourage anyone learning how to trade to buy books and read them yourself.

I find the Chaikin Oscillator significantly more effective when paired with Heikin Ashi (HA) rather than with standard Japanese candlesticks or traditional bars. HA charts offer much clearer entry and exit points, and the Chaikin Oscillator provides additional confirmation of these timings in multiple ways. Given that most technical indicators-whether oscillators, moving averages, or overlays-tend to lag, divergence becomes crucial in making more predictive analyses. In this context, drawing trend lines is notably easier with HA, as the highs and lows are more distinctly defined. By the way, the diphthong in ‘Chaikin’ should be pronounced with the French-influenced /eɪ/ sound, rather than the /ʌɪ/ pronunciation commonly found in other languages.

It's impossible to understand the speaker. I even slowed the speed down to .75 and it's still requires extraordinary concentration to understand what is being said. This doesn't leave any time to absorb what's being said. If this is ai, it's pathetic. If it's a person, take this video down and re-do with somebody else who understands how to speak correctly in a video. Really disappointed cause this topic interests me and it looked interesting. Guess I'll be finding a different information video. This one is a waste of time.

Why do so many KZbin stock market videos use a black screen? It makes for a poor experience for a viewer - many of the lines cannot be seen.

I have a strategy for you to test. Long position only. Either Daily or Hourly. MacD (default) settings. Stochastic (%K 70, %K smoothing 10, remove the %D line). 200 EMA Entry: MacD fast line crosses above the signal line, while below the zero line Stochastic K line is below 35 Price is below 200 EMA (yes, below) Exit: MacD fast line crosses below the signal line, while above the zero line Stochastic is above 65 Stop Loss: 40%

Hi there, Really like the videos, I have a few questions that are not clear to me. 1-Using day timeframe. what if there is a gap while market is close and we get into the trade way above our entry? Shall we define a max price? 2-I read both Chaos Theory books, ATR is not mention in 2nd edition. Looks like an easy option to filter some divergences (noise). I saw the investopedia link but is there any publication from BWilliams? 3-MFI and Profitunity status make sense for me but not mentioned in 2nd edition. Does it mean that the concept is obsolete and no longer used? 4-Tick volume is not a key element to get into a trade. Is not important or because with are using big companies the "big volume" is already implied? 5-book's summary link is not working, do you have another link? Many thanks

Nice story starting at 2:56, but completely misleading. In fact, EMA and SMMA are practically identical, if you know how they are calculated. Assume the SMMA has a "period" of N1. Then choose the "period" of the EMA, which we call N2, such that N2=2*N1+1. For example, a 50 period SMMA corresponds to a 101 period EMA. The agreement between SMMA and EMA is better for larger periods, e.g. larger than 10. What you explain after 2:56 is only the difference between a short and a long period moving average and has nothing to do with the difference between the EMA and SMMA.

What are the historical sources for him being in the KKK?
@projecttrade365
@projecttrade365 Жыл бұрын
As far as I'm aware we don't know that he was in the KKK so there wouldn't be a historical source for that. McAdoo was questioned about the KKK on his 1924 presidential campaign but wouldn't give a clear answer to his views, essentially saying that their rights are guaranteed under free speech and free assembly in his mind. Here's McAdoo's full quote: "I stand four square with respect to this and every other order, on the immutable guarantee of liberty contained in the first paragraph of the constitution of the United States, that is for freedom of religious worship, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right to paceable assemblage". Senator James D. Phelan said at the time "McAdoo may not be for the Klan, but the Klan is for McAdoo". And here's a link to the historical journal "The Journal of Southern History" Vol. 38 No.4 by James C. Prude in 1972 which discusses McAdoo and the KKK issue. www.jstor.org/stable/2206152

@@projecttrade365 Thanks for the info. I think it''s a stretch to assume he was for the KKK or in the KKK. I think he was pragmatic in wanting to win every vote he could without offending anyone. (In retrospect he should have distanced himself but how many democrat politicians were openly hostile to the KKK in the 1920's?) What is your knowledge of his segregating the Treasury? I have read historians who say that McAdoo was one of the people working Capitol Hill to get votes for Wilson New Reform agenda. Again he was pragmatic in wanting the Federal Reserve system and wanted to satisfy the wing of the Democrat party that wanted segregation in government in return for votes for New Reform. Sec Burleson and Sec Daniels were hardcore segregationists obviously but I don't get that sense with McAdoo. Was he a pragmatic (and weak) politician who wanted all the tools at his disposal for the new Federal Reserve? Or was he more of the Burleson and Daniels segregationist mindset? The issue I have with him is that he was undoubtedly a brilliant man. The Federal Reserve was created in the nick of time to help ward off the financial catastrophe that would have resulted due to the outbreak of WW1. Then obviously the Liberty Loan was a stroke of genius not to mention his handling of the railways. I think more than anyone on the Wilson cabinet he carried the country during a very turbulent period.

I'm not sure this is right. Bill Williams always advocated trading in the direction of the overall market. The first wiseman is not very wise. Trying to take reversals against the direction of the overall market is suicide as you can see. The third wiseman is very profitable because you are trading with the trend. I don't know why you didn't take any of those trades? Perhaps you would have been profitable in spite of the first wiseman.
