How in hell can you crochet so small 🤯🤯🤯

Practise starting with a medium size hook and gradually reduce the size of hook when you can work comfortably,

You need to make your cover with aluminum foil inside so it can form to your bed

Thank you, I've tried that, but don't like the results. I prefer to glue the bedding in place, as it looks more realistic.

I tend not to glue bedding as i change it. To keep the "natural " look i pin it into tge foam with tiny sewing pins. Starch and iron also helps.

I’ve also seen a KZbinr put a sheet of aluminium foil into quilts etc. then you can easily fold the bedding over the edge of the bed

That bed you’re making is actually a 3/4 size bed if you are including the frame in the size and it’s a tad short. 3/4 bed 48” wide and 74” long. Double is 54” wide 74” long. Queen is 60” wide and 80” long
@JulieWarren9 күн бұрын
I have used a little bit of artistic licence to make the bed fit nicely into the shop. Only somebody with a tape measure would notice that the measurements aren't reduced exactly to 1/12th scale!
@tea.chi39 күн бұрын
I understand, it looks lovely, I’m just detail oriented, my own worst enemy 😉
@janicepainter95128 күн бұрын
Its possible that it's just the right size for displaying bedding. I think I've seen that in shops where the bed was short bc the bed itself was only for display purposes only.
@tea.chi38 күн бұрын
@ you’re right, I thought that might be the case. Since Julie hadn’t mentioned it being a “display bed” I am a stickler for details 😁
