What lights are you using for the inside of the bowls

They’re Aquascape underwater lights.

Hi did you add soil to the pond. Also did you put the stones straight onto the liner?
@DUWaterscapes8 ай бұрын
We created a separate bog garden in this one; so when the pond overflows it goes into that area to saturate it. Any stones go onto a heavy duty underlay/ fabric; massive stones will go on top of a layer of rounded gravel to disperse the weight. Hope that helps 💪🏼
@chiarabay93648 ай бұрын
Please explain what you mean by double layer of liner because it looks like you put two separate pieces of liner together and then you said you added another layer of “ heavy duty fabric”. What does that mean please? What is heavy duty fabric? Are so many rocks on the base of the pond to stop water getting inbetween the two liner sections? Why could you not use one length of liner as it wasn’t a very big pond? The film was speeded up over the most important section!
@DUWaterscapes8 ай бұрын
Heavy duty fabric is a geosynthetic mating that is used on both sides of the liner to protect it and provide structural support underneath. We may have used smaller pieces as we try and minimise wastage in line with our company ethos.

Great job Dan! But how do you know the wetland filter flow if it is conected at the same pump with the jets?
@DUWaterscapes9 ай бұрын
Thank you. The single waterfall at the end is the water flowing up through the wetland and it also has a surface jet in the wetland too.

Those rocks are huge it’s going to look incredible can’t wait see how it turns out. Love your ponds dude. I’ve just finished designing my own small pond to build this year. I can’t wait to do it and think I’d really love to have a go at doing what you do. The satisfaction you must get seeing your visions come to fruition must be so rewarding.

Are you going to be seeding with a chalk grassland mix? I noticed it’s quite chalky so seems to be ideal for her situation. Lovely pond and video, the wildlife will love it!
