In which videos do you go over the nunjra practice and the nine round breath?
@YogiKhenpoDrimedDawa17 күн бұрын
I have never heard of "nunjra" to the best of my knowledge and therefore know nothing about it. I could not find anything about it online either. The 9-round breathing can be found in the Essentials 5.3 video or on p. 221 in Innate Happiness 3rd edition. There are many variations, one of which can be found on p. 299 of the book (I don't think it is in the earlier video). I hope this helps. If you haven't tried it yet, the links to the videos are best found on our website AwamInstitute.org/classes.

Khenpo Dean, thank you for this lecture. Could you suggest a fundamental meditation practice on emptiness? I can generate to the four blisses, but I have difficulty finding the concept of illusion compelling and thus have an obstacle to realizing the four empties. My mind counters with the following thoughts: Even if the world is not the way it appears to me (solid, colorful, etc), nevertheless my perception remains reliable for functioning in the world. Therefore it is not truly illusory. Besides, what is here called illusion actually displays remarkable regularities (such as the pattern of the seasons, the force of gravity, etc) which indicate that something real and objective stands behind it. I'm looking for a way to penetrate into emptiness and become aware of it. I have a feeling that, notwithstanding the logical arguments that my mind produces, it must be possible to intuit emptiness in a direct way and thus become directly aware of the illusory nature of phenomena. Do you have any suggestions for me in this regard? Thank you in advance.

Thank you for the teachings. I have two questions: Are the handouts for the various practices available anywhere? And is it characteristic for the four blisses to experience a rhythmic pulsation at the chakras, along the central channel and at the tip of the jewel?

Does the recitation of Sutras have an influence on the spirits of places? If so, which ones? These which are not very friendly beings, the souls of our ancestors and beings that were never human I live in a place saturated with death, lots of old palace ruins, old cemeteries and choleric pits there are also forests and several springs, ponds and rivers, rocks, a pleasant view but it is not known whether my house is not located on one of the forgotten and hidden by nature cemeteries There are ghosts living with us in the house but only two of them belong to ex-people(great-grandfather and grandmother) other spiritual beings they were never human however, all together treat us as like a source of food and they are not very friendly, not deadly harmful either but...Life together is hard, burdened with sadness and despair, constant failures in every area of life I asked several lamas for initiations to particular practices but I received only lung from Chogyal NN and that doesn't change much(like an ordinary prayer in church)

Reciting sutras or mantras, saying prayers, etc. is not about "others", but is part of training your own mind. There are countless sources that give a good overview in different levels. Mine is my book "Innate Happiness" (new 3rd edition should be available by April 1st 2024). It is a guidance manual for training your mind according to the instructions attributed to Padmasambhava. ... Yogi Khenpo Drimed Dawa
