Just finding this. First off, I really enjoyed this review. It was extremely relaxing and informative. Second, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what you feel like is missing from the modern DC offerings? I’m inclined to agree with your statement but I personally can’t quite put my finger on what’s missing.

Could you set your camera to take a still every say 2 minutes and you could make a fast motion that you could talk over?

This way, you could still be private and would Jazz things up ,think about it .

@ComicsOdyssey Instead of live could you do that and post later after a voice overdub? People would line up to see that ,CBC used to do it way back .

I think the childlike wonder of old Superman comics has a special something that newer Superman lacks. From the very first movie, we've been saying "haha Superman doesn't fit in the modern world."
@ComicsOdysseyАй бұрын
He doesn't fit in the modern world, and that's whythe modern world needs him.

His art does suck. It’s very of-it’s-time and nostalgic so I can appreciate it having grown up with it, but I thought it kinda sucked then and it sucks now

Wow, you've got some interesting ideas and concepts. I've been daydreaming about how I'd reimagine the DC and Marvel universes, so it's great to hear your plan to fix the former. I love how your focus is on reinvigorating core characters like Wonder Woman and reducing the scale of the DC Universe in order to breath new life into it and make it more accessible. I'd love it if you were involved at DC and would appreciate seeing and hearing more of your ideas. You should try to work with DC in the future!

Thanks for the praise. Working at DC creative is an interesting thought experiment but I'm much more interested in developing some of these ideas for integration into my own comics which I'll start publishing soon.

Hard agree! His style has always had a great charm to me, and even in its time of ugliness I’ve found it still worked for me!

In my honest opinion, yes. His art is on the crappy side. The thing is, it's still tolerable. I collect comics. Especially independent stuff. Image is a favorite of mine. I collect all kinds of comics including Rob's. There are ppl who criticize his artwork so much yet they can't acknowledge the good he's done in comics. They also glaze artist that are worse than Rob. 1 of which has to use 3d assets like an elderly in a nursing home uses a crutch. Works at rippaverse comics. His art is the worse thing I've ever encountered in a comic book. Yet it's praised. I Don't mind ppl saying how bad Rob's art is. What I do mind is when these ppl praise artist that are worse than Liefield as if they're artwork is good, when in reality it's a huge dumpster fire on paper..... Covered in horse shit. 😐😐
@KLamki1Ай бұрын
This taboo of not using 3d assets is the same people who complain when you use references or trace. You can't draw without tools and you can't abstract without learning how to copy things you see. People that argue that is cheating are the same people that complain why their work is still bad and make excuses that they can't improve because they don't have time and money.
