Meanwhile, the American astronauts who were supposed to be in space for two weeks are still stuck in space until the middle of next year before they can return because they need that long to build another rocket.

Bye2 starlink. Starlink need arms to catch their reuseable rocket unlike China's rocket which can land anywhere it's program. American still claim it's their copy? 🤣🤣🤣
@后宫后
@后宫后 5 күн бұрын
Reusable rockets were proposed in the 1950s and 1960s, including a Chinese engineer, Elon Musk's concept is to simplify the function and compress the cost of iteration, in fact, if only consider rocket recovery, far from the need to repeatedly launch tons of stainless steel, space x inherited part of the rocket technology heritage of the United States, Those engineers or scientists are really amazing. However, what China considers is safe, reliable, autonomous and reusable, which is completely different from the technological path of starships. Due to the upper limit of chemical rockets and the lack of redundant design of starships, it is necessary to launch multiple starships to complete the function of one-time heavy launch vehicle. Not only the launch cost, but also the maintenance cost after return, and the launch tower also needs maintenance. And a series of cost arrows such as power supply and water supply facilities, transportation and storage😂
@后宫后
@后宫后 5 күн бұрын
In short, considering the overall cost and overall design, starships still have a long way to go to be safe and reliable

Leave it to the Japanese... they're thinking that wood decomposes, and already has the necessary bacteria to decompose it... they're hoping to crash them into thesurface of mars to help jump start the Genesis process.... Genius...a solutly amazing!
@Gage-t2i
@Gage-t2i 13 күн бұрын
The reason that wood isn’t really used is probably because of its inefficiency compared to steel for structure, alongside the fact that it can’t be made into some shapes, but it can work as a cheaper alternative for satellites, but it is just too much trouble for what it’s worth
@mikecook8712
@mikecook8712 13 күн бұрын
@Gage-t2i imagine they designed satellites that are just designed to crash into the surface. think arrows...but the "arrows" have seeds and fertilizer ....these are crashed into mars surface, they naturally rot, giving nutrients to the seeds. This starts a genesis type scenario... Its simple but genius

@@sk818factory5 not even remotely, but I like the gusto. The most valuable resources on Earth are a 3-way tie between human time, human effort, and human attention. Wood also isn't even fourth despite being insanely valuable.

@@sk818factory5 What? Nah, it literally grows on trees and they make seeds to reproduce themselves. And they will grow on any planet with a sufficient atmosphere. Just need to expend human time, effort, and attention to get them there and they'll grow on their own.
