in your opinion, do you think the marshall origin is loud enough for gigs. i use a boss katana head and marshall cab and im wondering if the marshall is loud enough

@@christopherarellano8428 A tricky question. The Origin is very clean tbh and if we talk about small venues / clubs, it may be enough however it is tricky to say if a drummer of the band is a beast. I can guarantee a small club venue but anything apart from that would require a stronger and louder Marshall amp.

@@FilipFellner my drummer gets a bit loud and thankfully my katana can compete but I was looking into a cheap marshall that can get me somewhere closer to the frusciante sound without dropping alot of money. But thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

@@christopherarellano8428 The Origin does the job well. I replaced my Boss Katana combo with it and it was worth it. However I had to change the speakers because they did not sound good at all. It does the job pretty well. 😊 However speaking of larger live setting, you may need higher Wattage or a more powerful Plexi type head.

@@proxer5781 The CH-1 has a pretty well defined leslie chorus for it's price. To be honest, I was very surprised when I listened to comparisons of these 2. However the CE-1's circuit also has the preamp that makes quite a difference based on how you pick the strings and overall playstyle hence also the presence of the chorus efect. The CH-1 is also a Mono pedal while the CE-1's true magic lies in the Stereo setting (using 2 amps). 😊 The CH-1 does the job needed for the price but the CE-1 makes you literally float in space. Hope this comparison was helpful. 🤘🏻

I asked because I have a ch-1 chorus and a replica of The One Chorus, which also has a preamp, but I don't hear any difference in sound, only that the one chorus with the preamp turned on is only louder but does not change the sound, it sounds the same as ch-1 and I don't know where the problem is.

@@proxer5781 If you go mono - only with one amp, the chorus is very similar between the CH-1 & CE-1. If you try the CE-1 in Stereo, you should hear a more distinct difference. But of course they can sound alike to be honest. I remember having a CE-2W and when I combined it with the Preamp replica it sounded very close to the CE-1 sound! If you have both of the in the signal chain, the preamp can make your CH-1 sound more identical to the CE-1 actually. So far what I have experienced, the biggest difference was with using the CE-1 in stereo (2 amps) & then the full magic comes.

@@mikestrauser2944 The Dyna Comp comes really hand with songs from BSSM. I do not own the Katana anymore but for what I can recall I had it set to: Channel: Crunch Volume: 10:00 o'clock Gain: 08:00 o'clock Clean Boost: The Green one Treble: 10:00 o'clock Middle: 12:00 o'clock Bass: 15:00 o'clock
