I don't know if i'm kind of late (cuz i know it's been a year since you posted this) but the answer is yes. My high school has gotten the rights and we're doing it now. :)

I absolutely LOVED this show. I lived on 182 & St. Nick. Even attended IS 143 down the street. I live in Fl now and just found out Miami's playhouse will be doing In The Heights early 2013! I'll be celebrating my birthday with my kids while watching Miami's version. Can't wait. Thank you Lin for an awesome show.

She will be in Jekyll & Hyde National Tour as Lucy Harris. I cannot wait to see that show finally. She'll be co-staring along side Constantine Maourlis or something like that..:3

Chris motherfuckin Jackson. He's the man. Benny is probably my favorite character in the show, and Chris hits it spot on!! He makes me want to play Benny someday :D

"Another hand for this futher mucking cast!" HAHAHAHAHA. This guy is an absolute genius. I wish he'd hurry up and churn out another work of absolutely brilliant show. Lin is clearly very appreciative of every single person who's involved in anything he does, it's very rare that someone would be so talented and such an incredibly perfect human being.

Is it bad that I listened to 96,000 39times? XD I really I wish that I saw this instead of The Addams Family but Im glad I got to see the Addams though. But this show was like right across the street. So If i had another day there I'd see this one (:
