that deck is badly built tho.. i hope you changed it up. remove king, remove zorojuro, remove ain, they are all not necessary. add 6c tesoro, add raise max and 6c sabo. theres even a deck guide at the asian official one piece site, how to play this deck. build it around board destruction and boardcontrol just google en asia one piece red purple uta guide and click the link from the official website.

I have 3 of the king kong gatling in my build. I was thinking about going wide most games and just poking. I also put 4 rush zoro and 4 ramp zoro in my build.

Nice vid! This leader seems promising for ramp decks. At 8:00 couldn't you have used leader ability to ramp 1 more and then stayed on curve after the King?

He can definitely be a consideration to run but he doesn't seem as impactful as in other decks that need him to ramp. The 6 drop film blocker is an option that might help the midgame

Really great showcase of this deck. Ive been playing it myself but switched out the Kid and Killer for Hatori just to have that extra 2k counter.

im also trying to figure out the right balance of navy and cp cards. I feel like kaku is super strong but without air door and less cp characters (no spandam, no wanze, no kumadori), I don't think we can spam 4 kaku 4 blueno profitably. Im inclined to think blueno demands some number of kumadori for consistency. Not a huge fan of garp 5. would prolly consider volcano since we play 4 kuzan. also I dont know if tashigi is better than garp 2, still uncertain. basically im on your list -3 garp 5, -2 shockwave, + 3 volcano, + 2 kumadori

I completely agree with your sentiment. I am still trying to figure out the correct ratios. There are times where you draw no counter and it feels rough. The tashigi helps at times when you need a cost reducer as everyone aims to get rid of kuzan as quickly as possible. The 5 drop helps when kaku is not live.

@@fercho4529 its just hard for me to justify another non counter removal character (arguably the worst of the bunch) between kaku and sakazuki. I guess my additional removal is volcano, enabled by tashigi /kuzan, and use those slots for kumadori who helps both blueno and kaku efficiency while being a counter.

@Kammautha I definitely feel like fuko is mandatory. I haven't tried volcano yet but I need to give it a try. Especially late game to use with Lucci's ability

I am trying a Navy heavy build with 16 2k counters (kalifa, Garp, Tsuru, Tashigi) 12 blockers (Borsalino, Fuku, Corazon) 9 poppers (Sakazuki x3, Garp x3, Koby x3) Issho x3 Little Kuzan x3 Shockwave x4 and Brannew x3 I am hesitant in removing big Garp for Blueno since my play style is more removal oriented due to being very used to playing Z last set but at times do feel like the big bodies with no counter feels dead. I run the Corazon for early blocking against life and since I found myself never playing blueno and using him as a 1k in the sim anyways. I don’t really like the CP cards either so if you guys have any suggestions please let me know 🙏🏽 I went 2 - 2 today at my locals today vs; Zoro - Win Smoker - Win Katakuri - Loss Zoro - Loss

Not bad running the chopper for additional counter power. I usually have run killer blocker for extra drawing power, but with its effect being on block not KO its inconsistent with so much more removal in game currently.

Is this deck from a regional list or did you build it yourself? If you built it why no 7 drop King?

This is the decklist that finished top 8 at the PPG regional in March. The 7 drop King is mainly good against zoro and law but doesn't have too much use in the other matches, especially against whitebeard.
