I was in the 7th grade when this game was released, stayed up countless hours grinding levels lol, FF7 soundtrack always brings tears to my eyes, so many memories

This is pure heaven...It's giving me chills! The music is like next-level mind-blowing. Huge shoutout to all the arrangers, the orchestra, the conductor, and of course, Nobuo. I can't thank you enough for creating such an incredible masterpiece.

To be honest,the video game music Uematsu made himself on a computer sounds better than this orchestra here. I think it's a little too overboard and not to my tastes. I prefer Nobuo's original soundtracks.

Uematsu's music is definitely compared to John Williams music. Nobody else but Nobuo-san can create such beautiful music like these.

And like Williams movie scores, it almost feels like the scenes in final fantasy games are composed around uematsus symphonies - I'm certain the final fantasy series would be nowhere near its legendary status without the music elevating it.

After all their time traveling together, she still hadn't met the real Cloud. The date was their only moment really alone together since sector 5. She was probably waiting all that time to tell him. If the remake brings them together on the date again, now that she knows her fate I wonder what it will be like this time?

it's a motif for Cloud's theme. Since this is Cloud's date. There are also Tifa and Aerith motifs hidden as well!

It's amazing how humble Nobuo is considering that he composed all of our favorites, but then we forget he might've started as an amateur but thru hard work he became such a master and genius composer.

このビデオを見たことのある日本人はどれくらいいるんだろう。もっと日本のみんなに注目してもらいたいなあ。 仕掛け人トーマス・ベッカーは15年以上も前からずっと日本のゲーム音楽をヨーロッパのオーケストラで公演してる。ひとつには日本のゲームのプロモーションという意味もあるけれども、もうひとつはクラシック離れしているヨーロッパの聴衆を呼び戻すという意味もある。 スクウェア・エニックスの立場としてはどうなんだろう？確かに日本にはゲーム音楽を演奏するオーケストラはいっぱいあるし、言うまでもなく欧米以上に様々なコンサートが開かれてる。ビジネス的にはそれで十分というひともいるかもしれない。でも、ケルンフィルハーモニー管弦楽団、ロイヤル・ストックホルム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、そしてこのロンドン交響楽団の響き！これはやっぱり聴かないと損！ 単に「ヨーロッパやイギリスでもゲーム音楽やってます」という話ではない。とんでもないすごいことなんだというのをみんなにわかってほしいな。ていうか聴けばわかるはず。

Didn't do it for me. Too much meandering and too many crescendos which rendered them impotent. It was missing the best elements and sounded more like a Star Wars wedding scene than Cloud and Aeris' special moment together.

I'm just awestruck by how metal and advante gaarde this arrangement of the main theme of VII is. It really emphasized the tragedy and horror of Aeris' murder which fundamentally shapes the call to action response of the game's third act. bravo!
