oh, I like that one a lot too, it was my other choice. I just thought cage of zodiac was a little more whimsical and fit his sense of humor too

it was only when I made this that I realized that the zodiacs that dance with each other usually have a special relationship in the story, even Kyo, who is removed, but would originally have danced with both Kagura and Yuki, his most meaningful relationships within the Sohma clan. poor Ritsu doesn’t count as usual 😅

I’m not sure every single song on the ost was played on the show, there are many. but I believe at least that clock sound made an appearance somewhere

so glad someone said so lol shigure’s was my favorite song in here, after kyo’s. I just really enjoyed the traditional japanese vibes, that mirror akito, but also the ticking sound, that is like a clock, symbolizing his patience in playing the long game

This anime helped me through my bad days, it made me feel like everything's going to be okay no matter how strong the storm is. I love this show so much, it has a special place in my heart. glad you like it :) tbh there was only ever this choice for rin in my head, because its the song that plays as she falls. I knew it would be the only one with actual lyrics. kagura was much harder, but I landed on something bittersweet, as I find her story to be just that
